I am curious... Why is budhism the most dangerous religion in your opinion?
Peep my reply above.
You might disagree with me but that's what I feel deep down in my heart. It would help if you would look at Budhism and the New Age movement in the long run....

As for Budha, the dude walked out on his family over some self centered shit.... Not a good role model....

Remember that Budhism is a spin off of Hinduism.
Sort of at least. Mr. Budha couldn't hang with Hinduism so he set out to start a religion that suited him better...
His philosophy's too loose, it tells you to go and find yourself.
Be happy with what ever makes you happy etc. etc.
I should've mentioned these new age religions, they're a spin off of these Oriental religions.
Human inspired philosophies....
They pretty much tell you, go with the flow and shit....

Personally, and I know a lot of people can relate to this but my life was fucked up when I used to "go with the flow"....
People will take the path of least resistance, these philosophies make these people too self centered.
And they're picking up steam all over the world, especially here in America. For the simple fact that it asks very little from you.
That's why I feel Budhism and these new age religions are very dangerous....

I knew I would get shit for having said what I did, but hey, I ain't afraid to speak my mind. I'm prepared for what ever backlash I get. It won't be the first time I say this, I'm gonna try to get my message across in a wider scale.

It says a lot about a religion when Richard Queer is a member of it....
First, I'm glad your speaking your mind and all but I think if you look at buddhism a little more closely you will take that statement back.

Second, were you studying buddhism when your life was fucked up and you were just going with the flow?

Third, It says a lot about a religion when Adolf Hitler is a member, and you know as well as I do, I can go on and on of other horrible men/woman who believed in the same god you do.

How about endorsing The God?

They can't get along because people are idiots. There is such thing as a basic understanding of the Supreme and it is non-secular. The government should not endorse one religion but should at least endorse the concept of the Absolute, at least on an impersonal level. Atheists have nothing to stand on. Why should we incorporate a lesser intelligence into our society? Don't get me wrong, we all should have the freedom to choose to accept God or not, but for the government to endorse atheism is to say that its way of thought has a valid stance on the same level as the theist.
i'm NOT endoring Atheism, but a government where ppl are a diverse bunch, shouldn't endored a religion, it shouldn't be spoken on. thats all i'm saying. keep it at a personal level.

Has nothing to do about atheism.

Shit I'd have a fit with that.
Any such belief in such building would send the wrong message to the public. Die for God and get a gang of coochie etc....

Say swear. Please tell me someone hacked your account & posted this mess. (and pretty much of the rest of your page 2 posts)

Uuum, the Christians I know recognize God as being separate from Jesus...Jesus being God's 'son'.

Oh, I forgot to say this...Why do you feel that's the message that the Koran is sending to people? I'm interested to know why you don't think it encompasses anything more than that?

So, if that's how you feel about the Koran, would the 10 Commandments maybe be endorsing the idea that grown men should be playin with little boys?

I only used the Muslim religion as an example cuzz that's the first one that came to mind...you can insert the religion of your choice into that statement & still make it work.

Also, when you asked 20Sixx how much he knows about the incest, etc, etc in the Bible, what exactly did you mean? Could you please ask a more specific question?

No I didn't follow Budhism when I lived my life as it came.
I just lived it according to his philosophy without even realizing it.
Not just his but most Oriental and new age philosophies.
Kinda like the way you live your life now.
You know, try to make the best of life while you're alive type of deal.

So you're implying that Hitler was Christian?
Where did Hitler accept Jesus Christ as his lord and savior?
He killed millions of Jews instead of loving them as his enemies and praying to God for their salvation.
On the contrary, there's accounts that he was illuminated by a being that scared the shit out of him. It was after this illumination that lead him to kill millions of Jews....

I love you too but it was me who typed all of that.
People might think I'm crazy for making such comments but I hope they hold their judgement until they hear my explanation.

Christians believe God is not a central being.
But God is a group of 3 seperate beings, you know the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Each one of these beings is God, so Jesus is God to Christians.

Study the Qu'ran and every other religion.
Compare it to the New Testiment and the sacred Vedas.
Then you'll understand why I said that, and will agree as well....

What makes you think the 10 Commandments endorse gay pedaphilia?
Is it because of certain faggs within the Catholic Church?
What does a few corrupted individuals under a certain denomination have to do with the 10 Commandments?
For instance just because the Episcopalian church appoints a Gay Bishop, it doesn't mean the bible approves this.

You have pointed out the wrong doings of sick individuals which goes completely against the teachings of the bible.

Jesus and the apostle John warned everyone in the New Testiment that people would try to dirty the image of the Word.
What's going on around the world these days does not surprise me at all.... It was foretold....

I understand that.
But understand this, I do not support the idea of having the 10 Commandments in a government building or establishment.
I am not Jewish....

I meant that such things are found in the bible, but does he know what the bibles says about such activity.
It is easy for one to say, "Oh, God killed a bunch of people according to the bible". That's what these cats are doing now days, they only tell half the story to villafy Christianity. Like I said, they're only trying to dirty it's image just like Jesus warned about.
If you read the Old Testiment you will see that God killed evil, and even spared evil for the sake of saving the good.
Read Soddom and Gammorah....

No. Too much trouble.
You would have those who are offended by it and those wou'd want to do the same but from a different religion.
I don't think the benefits out weigh the negatives on this one.

I know, I should be clear but I'm lazy.
I mean, those who are familiar with the subject would understand what I said but those who are not will be puzzled.
Knowing that, I do it anyway cuz I have no problem explaining it.
Just tryin to save time by cutting corners ya know?

Take your time on responding.
I see you have a lot of questions and this can get very deep.
So PM if you like....

Sorry comrade, time and time again Hitler spoke of god and jesus. Look it up. Second, my point was too show you an example of a so called christian doing horrible things (In response to your insult of Budhaism and richard geer).
Third, You were not living your life according to the philosophy because you did not study it. From your replies I have learned you know next to nothing about Budhism.

Nah, nah, nah...make it public...must educate the masses. lol

Quick question...then would you support a Christian doctrine placed in a government building? I'm assuming the answer would be no based on what you said above. But we all know what happens when we assume!!!
As much as I would like the idea, my answer is no.
People would get the impression that you're pushing your beliefs on them via the government.

Paul said that the way to spread the Word is through acts and not by confrontation.
