^He started rooting for the Raiders because he's a fan of Aaron Brooks. When Brooks left the Saints to Oakland he became a Raider fan..
My question to Tony is, what happens when Brooks leaves Oakland or retires?

jamarcus russell played against Notre Dame(the most overated team ever in college football) check out when he played real defenses like Florida Passing Att-Cmp-Int Yds TD Long Sack
--------------------------------------------
J. Russell 41-24-3 228 1 27 1
Totals... 41-24-3 228 1 27 1

thats 3 ints playing Notre Dame was like a walk in the park

I say trade the pick to the lions n pick Peterson n trade #18 for a high pick n keep Porter for the rest of the draft I want all O-line n maybe a WR and DT

I THINK FIRST OF ALL MARTZ IS THE WRONG CHOICE.THEY SHOULD HIRE THE COACH FROM USC THE OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR.WHO WAS WITH THE RAIDERS IN 2004.SECOND WE SHOULD GIVE PORTER,MOSS,BROOKS A SECOND CHANCE SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO.THATS IF THEY WANNA STAY.BUT ABOUT THE COACH MARTZ IS TOO OLD AND EVERYONE KNOWS HIS STYLE OF OFFENSETHATS WHY HE DIDNT WIN A SUPERBOWL WITH THE RAMS.IN THE OTHER HAND THE UCS OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR IS YOUNG AND FULL OF NEW IDEAS AND OFFENSIVE PLAYS.

Why'd you switch teams that you supported?

I don't care about the specific teams, I'm just wondering why you switched teams at all and how long ago it was?
See Evidence's reply. He's right on point.

When/if Brooks leaves I will wish him the best of luck, but I am still going to be a Raider fan.

Well let's see..

Saints = SuperBowl hopeful
raiders = Worst team in the league.

I'd still be laughing.
It's all good. We'll (the Raiders) be back next year mayne! The Saints are looking good though. I don't see them winning in Chicago though.

not really a good place to discuss real raider football with all these haters around.... www.raiderfans.net is the place to be!

But yaah as far as the draft goes, I'd be happy with any of the following: Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Marshawn Lynch, J. Russel

I think I'd take C. Johnson with the overall pick tho.. With Moss likely on the way out and a guy with C. Johnsons size and talent ( 6'5 225, or something around there ) he may very well be one of the NFLs next top WRs... Now can we build up a oline and have Walter get him the ball? who knows........

If we decide to take the RB route. I'd be happy with Peterson or Lynch, Being a CAL fan I got to see a lot of Lynch, once he hits the hole watch out! But Peterson is a very bruising' back as well and can be a franchise RB for this team, So I'd be happy with either..

Now as far as QB, J. Russel def. has the talent to be one of the best, He's a big guy, very accurate, strong arm, can move around.. The only knock on him is his attitude, He already seems like a "ME" first player.. When asked about the draft he said something like this " Whoever picks first and pays me the most " I mean of course who wouldn't wanna get paid the most, But it seems like he aint the TEAM player type of guy.....

this makes to be an interesting draft...

Oh and I wouldn't mind Martz as HC/OC... With this Defense and knowing the type of Offense' Martz creates.. LOOK OUT!

I really hope we dont draft Calvin Johnson. The offense needs to be completley rebuilt and WR should be one of the last things to focus on regardless if Porter and Moss are gone. The last thing I want is another malcontent WR who is complaining or cant play to their full potential because of the team around them. I think if an offense has a solid foundation(RB and O-line) even decent WR's can look pretty good. Just look at Philly..who do they have other then Stallworth that anyone knew about before the season? They now have one of the best offenses in the league because of a good foundation and system.

Dude from USC would be a good choice. As for Martz, he won a superbowl with the Rams as the offensive coordinator and then he got them to the SuperBowl as head coach. I can understand Al worrying about his heart ailment though.

Don't judge him off of that. Of course he's looking to get paid like all the first rounders. Lets suit him up in a Raider uniform so we could win.

I cant see that happening..Favre has like one year left.
Considering the state of the team right now I dont even know why he'd want to be here.

Brett Favre!!!!! I respect the man for what he´s done, but if the Raiders actually traded the number one pick for him, I´d quit watching football for the rest of my life.
real talk, as much as i respect favre he should jus finish his career at GB, but im really interested in what the raiders will do with the #1 pick
