Shane can't get out the way anymore though....
I'm not saying he can. I fully expect shane to get rained on by combinations but after round 4 or so. Shane never really had good defense though, but he knows how to clinch and if you think about it, who has ever clinched as a form of defense against pac? Hatton was the only person who attempted recently but that was disastrous lol. Part of that is manny's style, it's hard to clinch him when he's bouncing in and out like he often does.
Shane "had" fast hands, I'm not saying he's slow now but he's declined.
They have but he still has very fast hands. Faster than Margarito, Hatton, Marquez, Cotto & Clottey....
Lots of older guys still have fast hands. Shit, look at roy jones. You could argue that his hands are faster than anyone at light heavyweight and cruiserweight right now and you'd probably be right. Even at 40-41 years age or whatever he is.
Hopkins also still has pretty fast hands and he's 46 now.
If Pacquiao and Shane were fighting in their primes, I'd pick Shane by knockout because Shane would've traded with him.
shane was a beast in his prime I think he always would have been a bit too big for pacquiao but who knows, pacquiao loses every fantasy fight but wins against everyone in real life.
