Well if Manny loses to old man Mosley he would be getting exposed. This is the 1st time since Marquez that Manny is fighting someone that has a different style, he has fought one style of fighter since moving to 147lb, come forward with no head movement or defense style fighter.

LOL. I'm sorry but the Manny fans called Mosley shot after Mayweather beat his ass. Then after Top Rank said Mosley was fighting Manny he's magically not shot anymore. Get your facts right.
Manny fans here said it? Link me to it because I don't recall any of them saying it. However, I do recall you, Tony and others saying Shane was shot when he was announced as an opponent. So, if you can show me where the Pac-Man fans said Mosley was shot (when he fought Floyd) point it out to me. I've yet to see it, so again point it out so I can.

My question to Floyd fans is this, if Mosley wins this fight, are you going to say he is shot?
That's a good question. I think he's a shot fighter with no reflexes but if he wins then obviously I am/was wrong. At age 39, I don't see him sitting there trading punches with Pacquiao. I think we're going to see a lot of holding and grappling from Shane, he may even get a point taken from him for holding so much. There's just no way he's going to keep up with Manny's workrate. Shane is too old and he's not juicing anymore.

No, because even though Shane was coming off of a long layoff, he looked impressive in knocking out Margarito. And he didn't look shot against Cotto either.

206 said that the long layoff would affect Shane and he probably was right.

kenny bayless has been announced the ref so very unlikely you'll see any points deducted unless it's very blatant. Shane & Pac are too honorable for that kind of stuff.

I just don't see how Shane is going to slow Pacquiao down without holding and grappling. I mean their styles are similar.... if Shane isn't shot then it's a very, dangerous fight for Pacquiao because I don't see Shane bagging up too much.

could be. Bernard Hopkins always said that once you get old you have to stay active because it takes longer to "get your engine running smoothly" then in your youth.

now he's probably right. He fought twice last year and looked great against Pascal. He didn't fight for a year between winky and calzaghe and looked bad against calzaghe. He fought pavlik immediately after and looked great. so there is a bit of a pattern there with grandpa hopkins.

Nazim also echoed this and said because of the fact Shane just fought sergio, he started training camp in great shape, whereas against floyd he was really rusty and it took time to get timing down, etc.

so there is probably some truth there, but of course everyone is different.

But now that he's fighting Pac he looks shot.

Ok.
When he fought Floyd, he was coming off of an impressive knockout victory even though it was over a year since he had last fought. Shane wanted to fight Pacquiao after he knocked Margarito out but Pacquiao wanted no part of Shane. Floyd probably wouldn't even have fought Shane if Pacquiao would have just accept the blood testing Floyd wanted.

Now that Shane has lost, and fought to a draw in his last bout, Shane is all of a sudden a good opponent for Pacquiao, just sayin'....

And we were saying Shane looked shot before he was announced as Pacquiao's opponent.

oh yeah atlas nearly got fired for that shit. it was really wrong of him to go on air about supposed emails someone had shown him which later proved to be bullshit.

it would be like me going on air and saying I have knowledge from an inside source (which is really bigface online) about floyd mayweather and blasting it on air. really unprofessional of him.

Atlas has done a lot stupid things. He's cool half the time and a bonehead the other half. He always picks againts pacquiao too he picked oscar, hatton, cotto and margarito to stop him, sort of like his bais against the klitschko's he's picked tony thompson, sam peter, solis, and a bunch of bums to ko the klits. he's weird for a guy who supposedly knows so much about the technical aspects of the game.

Heresy, critics were saying Shane was shot after he fought Floyd because he had Floyd hurt and couldn't finish him. Give credit to Floyd for surviving because he was rocked and he did make adjustments as the fight went on but some people say Mosley looked gassed and winded..... and this was before he was announced as Pacquiao's opponent.

do you really believe that was a draw against mora? I thought it was a very boring fight but I had mosley winning by like 4-5 points. I didn't think it was close at all, tbh.

I remember the HBO crew going light-weight crazy about that decision...

Kah707kali-Go back to the 'Top Rank & Golden Boy agree to all terms' thread and you will see what you said about Mosley yourself. You called Mosley past his prime and washed up, so I really don't see the point you're trying to make.
You called Mosley old and washed up but now that he's fighting your girlfriend Manny, he's not washed or old anymore?

My question is if Mayweather got no credit for his win over so-called past prime Mosley, why should Manny get credit for beating him a year later?
