Back to the Mayweather vs Ortiz thread.

Did you guys hear Mayweather tell Ortiz that he will not box him, he stated that he's going to stand toe to toe with Ortiz and trade punches. What do you guys think about Mayweather standing toe to toe with Ortiz??
I think it's very risky... for the folks who say Mayweather is scared of losing that 0 on his record, can't say that now.

But yeah I think it's very dangerous of him. Ortiz probably has more power than Mosley at this stage in their careers.... and we know he's not going to gas out.

I'm glad he took this fight though.
Me too, I think it's going to be a real tough test. I think fighting Ortiz at 147 could be tougher than fighting Pacquiao at 147 because of Ortiz' size and strength. He proved he can take a punch and he was walking right through most of Berto's punches!

Yep, which is why Mayweather will fight from the outside and not risk it...

And Mayweather has been scared to lose that zero, doesn't take a genius to see he's cherry picked his fights. Same can be said for Pac the last few years though...

This is a risky fight though, gotta give PBF props no doubt...

Mayweather is just saying he'll go toe to toe to secure more buys for the PPV.

If he does, which I doubt he will you best believe Ortiz will touch em a hell of alot more then Mosley or Marquez did.

That's what makes this fight so interesting. You don't know what going to happen. Mayweather's 16-month vacation and Ortiz's power punching makes for a great fight.

News flash, News flash,

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has missed his court date and a warrant for his arrest has been issued. Stay tuned for the latest Floyd Mayweather Jr news!

---- Channel 206 From the Siccness.net
so a warrant for floyd's arrest wouldn't be newsworthy and if I were to break that news on the siccness it would be "hatin?" lmao you're an idiot.

I posted Gamboa's mugshot I guess I was hatin on him. Or when Nate Campbell beat up his wife I posted an article on that I was hatin.

That's not the point, you post shit about Floyd before ESPN does. How do you keep beating ESPN to posting breaking news about Floyd's accusations and problems out of the ring? But then you say we're obssesed with Manny.

Has anything I posted been wrong? I go to boxing websites everyday, which get a lot more boxing news and more information than ESPN does, who only have a few people dedicated to boxing there. There is Dan Rafael (Fat Dan) and that's about it who update news on the site.

Whereas dedicated boxing sites get immediate press releases, etc. posted within minutes, because, that's all they cover.

My point is this is a floyd thread and all you guys were doing is talking about manny. That's obsession. You can find me in every single boxing thread in this forum posting about everyone. Don't act like I don't know my boxing and I'm not posting articles/news about just about any relevant fighter. People like you stick to talking about a handful of fighters and that's it.

saying and doing are two different things. he could talk about not boxing, but he could just go in their and have a field day boxing ortiz. if he decides to box ortiz, then mayweather got this easily. but he fights ortiz, its a toss up and i give props to mayweather, but thats a big if.
