But what blacks don't understand is it seems like "whitey" has issues wit both of us, fucked both of us, still fuckin both of us (I mean racist white peeps and the gov. if ny whites is offended), and it seems like Mexicans in So.cal suck up to them and then try to shift us...thats a big problem in black peoples minds. Plus shit wasn't hectic like that in So.cal back in the day...how come they pretty much get along in the north and other places in the states with Chicanos and blacks? And other latino pops. fight w/ blacks but usually on some peace shit, FLA., NY, CHI? It's something about Southern California, and our gangs and history, thats the only thing it could be.

from what i see..in norcal and them other places that u mentioned,fla,ny,chi..the latinos livin there seem to absorb the black way of doing things..talking,dressing,music..basicly following the blackmans swagger..while down here in so-cal we try to stick to our mexican/chicano roots...look at norcal and texas mexicans refering to themselfs as ''niggas''..i just dont understand that and i dont know how brothas are cool with it.but then again,u cant be too upset when someones jockin you.

I think it's what Surcaliman said. All the Latinos in those places "act black." In LA the Mexicans don't want or need to be like that. I can't speak for OC or SD cuz I've never lived there, but all I heard growing up was "there's nothing better than being Mexican." We never wanted to be anything else..

And in general I feel that Mexicans have more against blacks than blacks do against Mexicans. But it's because blacks see Mexicans as being really similar to them and Mexicans don't..
