Like I said pages ago, some people just look at the numbers (the amount of weight) and just assume that if this guy is at that way, and if this other guy is at that weight that one is just going to go down or up and they should fight. It doesn't work like that, people.

I wonder why Pac vacated the belt? Thats all I am saying.
Most likely because he can't fight at that weight.

Also thats cool that u found a link and I mean who doesnt want to fight Mayweather to get paid? Of course hell bring Floyd up to try to get a fight. Im just saying Ive heard him sorta bad mouth Manny where he hasnt atleast bad mouthed Floyd. Got Em!!
Saying someone has hand picked opponents is bad mouthing them. Saying they aren't number one until they beat you is bad mouthing them. Like I said, google is your friend here. That isn't the only time he said something about Floyd. And again, it makes no difference if he bad mouthes Pac because he and Pac are NEVER going to fight. He is not coming down, Pac is not going up. No fight. Floyd on the other hand? They can fight at 154.

I mean if Manny can fight Floyd and Floyd can fight Sergio then Manny can fight Sergio! No if ands or buts about it. Got Em!![/QUOTE]

So Manny cant fight at that weight but he won a belt at that weight? Makes sense to me. Also if everyone and all the list and magazines have Floyd number one who cares what Martinez says about Floyd's rank? I recently saw a live interview of Martinez saying Manny will not fight him. When asked about Mayweather he said he think it will happen at some point! Big difference on his opinion of the two. Also if he fights Mayweather he will be coming down in weight so what do u mean he wont come down? Got Em!!

he means martinez wont go to 147 and Pacquiao wont go to 154.

pac weighed 144 pounds against margarito which was at a catchweight of 150, the man is quite obviously too small. that fight was originally supposed to be at 147 the only reason they did 150 was cuz the wbc put up some BS vacant title. immediately after the fight pac said it was too high and that was the end of that experiment.

LOL todays boxers are pussies(Floyd, Pacroid), afraid of a few pounds, Oscar De La hoya fought Bernard Hopkins a fighter who is clearly bigger then him. Faggot Floyd and Pac Man won't take any chances unless they have the upper hand. Manny and Floyd might be good at filling up arenas but they are cowards when it comes to taking on the best of the best. Just look how both faggots never fought each other. Floyd and Manny = Protected/Known to Duck

206 just explained this to you.

Also if everyone and all the list and magazines have Floyd number one who cares what Martinez says about Floyd's rank?
Who cares what Martinez says? I guess being ranked #3 for P4P means little huh? Especially since the #1 slot is VACANT and Ring has Floyd and Pac TIED at the #2 spot. So yeah, who cares about anything Sergio says?

And if no one should care about what Sergio has to say about Floyd's rank, no one should care about what he says when it comes to a fighter who isn't willing to move up in weight.

I recently saw a live interview of Martinez saying Manny will not fight him.
Of course he won't fight him. Pac isn't fighting ANYONE at that type of weight again. He is NOT fighting at 150 and if he isn't fighting at 150 there is no way in hell he is fighting at 154. Sergio already said he isn't coming down to 150 and said he is willing to fight at 154. Do you get it now? Floyd is willing to fight him because he CAN fight at 154 and still perform. Pac, on the other hand, most likely can't.

When asked about Mayweather he said he think it will happen at some point! Big difference on his opinion of the two. Also if he fights Mayweather he will be coming down in weight so what do u mean he wont come down? Got Em!!
I'm talking about Pac and thought I made it very clear when I said "Floyd on the other hand? They can fight at 154."

you realize Pacquiao started his career at 106 pounds right? how many weight classes does he have to go up? its absurd to think he has to go up anymore.

Marvin Hagler fought his entire career at 160 pounds and turned down a couple fights at 168 and 175 cuz he wasn't comfortable going up in weight does that make him a pussy? of course not.

floyd and pac have already taken many risks by fighting top fighters and both moving up so many weight classes. its funny how u diss them and yet its fine for Martinez, a middleweight champion, to call out small fighters and yet wont move up in weight and fight Andre Ward. that's a double standard homie.

Yes, the guy is two weight classes above, but a lot of people were looking at the weight itself (the numbers), not the actual classes, and basing things off that. They figure, "hey whats a few pounds less or more?"
I said that pages ago. People just look ar the numbers and assume it (a fight) can go down, but because of size differences and all these weight classes, certain fights just can't happen.

Who cares where pac roid started, if you're the fighter of the decade fighting in the 140+ range and clearly are quicker and stonger then all the opponets you face why not grow some balls and hop up to 154??? oh yeah, that's to big of a risk. Pacroid needs to juice up and handle his business at 150, fuck fighting bradley, if he beats Martinez then I will give him his props. Don't care if he beat a washed up Oscar, Mosely, Clottey, Cheated Marquez, Beat and Overrated Margarito, had a major advantage vs cotto. Like i said give Manny some more roids and let him loose vs Martinez.

Man whatever. If Manny really wanted to fight him he would. I dont buy that Martinez is to big. They can meet somewhere and even if Manny is smaller he would be the quicker fighter. I dont think he wants to fight Martinez for obvious reasons. Got Em!!

I still dont remember when Ward called out Martinez or when Martinez turned down to fight him! Not saying it didnt happen but I didnt think Ward would be ready to fight him just yet. Still surprised Ward is fighting Dawson so soon although I think Ward is gonna beat him. He is fighting Dawson on his terms though as far as weight and place of event. Got Em!!

The obvious reason is the weight. Pacquiao fights at 147, Martinez 160. If they fight at a catchweight of 150 or at the full 154, pacquiao would still weigh 140-something. Martinez would rehydrate 10-20 pounds. There is absolutely no obligation for Pacquiao to fight Martinez, or anyone for that matter, at 150 or above. He's a welterweight and a small one at that.

I still dont remember when Ward called out Martinez or when Martinez turned down to fight him! Not saying it didnt happen but I didnt think Ward would be ready to fight him just yet.
I already provided you with a link I guess you're too lazy to click a link? That's not my problem. But I help you out anyway:

Andre ward:
"I've never seen Macklin fight. But pulling for Martinez for a possible fight between us."
"Good win by Martinez. Did what he had to do. I'm ready!!! Lets make it happen!!!
"Me and Sergio would be a great fight"

But here is Lou DiBella on possibly fighting Ward or Bute:

"To say he should move up to fight Bute or Ward is like saying he should fight Klitschko. I’m not going to send him to the wolves. Come on. He doesn’t beat Bute. Bute’s too frigging big."

On fighting Bernard Hopkins who challenged Martinez at a catchweight of 170:

“I will not allow him to fight at 168, put it that way, ever,” said Sampson Lewkowicz, Martinez’s adviser. “So whoever comes with 170 or 168, my promoter [Lou DiBella] and myself and our team will not allow it. He’s too small for 168.”

“One-seventy is a lot of weight for me,” Sergio Martinez said, "That's too much."

What about fighting other top guys at 160 pounds, the same division Martinez fights at?

Sergio Martinez offered record purse to fight Dmitry Pirog ($3+ million dollars)

Lou DiBella: “Fuck Dmitry Pirog. We’re never fighting Dimitri Pirog….That was our belt that [the WBO] stole from him and we’re not fighting Dmitry Pirog, who has never done anything but beat Daniel Jacobs to deserve a big fight. Fuck Dmitry Pirog.”

Gennady Golovkin Calls Out Sergio Martinez

Lou DiBella: "He brings nothing to the table, that's not a fight we're interested in. At all"

(yet Dzinziruk & Darren Barker did? hmm)

So, I'd like to quote bigface's favorite line, "quit with the double standards!" Martinez wont even fight top guys in his own division, let alone guys at 168-170, so if you're going to call pacquiao a ducker for not moving up in weight to challenge martinez, martinez is a ducker himself for not moving up in weight (or even fighting top 160 pound fighters!).

Good shit on the Ward piece. Maybe he doesnt want to move up that high but I dont think he is scared to fight Ward. I actually think Martinez is the most ducked fighter at this point. Also some of those guys u mentioned arent all that to me. I think Chavez Jr. is the next best guy in the division and he is fighting him so I dont think he is ducking anyone. Got Em!!

have u seen Golovkin fight? dude is a beast. pirog is good too. point is there is business for him to take care of at 160. kid chocolate is there too.

I understand chavez, that's a big fight, but I don't thunk chavez is the second best fighter, he's not better than Golovkin or Pirog in my eyes or chocolate. but he's become a solid fighter nonetheless.

at least pac and floyd have been fighting the best guys in their own weight class, know what I'm saying? I just think martinez is after the big money fights which other than chavez are smaller guys. and that's fine but smaller guys aren't obligated to move up in weight. so other than chavez he's in a tough spot - the biggest fights are either guys too small or too big fir him. might as well try to unify 160.

Ive seen dude fight but I think Chavez is better than those guys u mentioned! Also u are right about Martinez goin for the big payday. I mean while we both know he is a late bloomer and his age isnt as old as most might think but 37 is still 37 and Im sure he wants to make sure he gets his money before he is done or declines. I dont think he is ducking those dudes though because Chavez is a bigger payday and to me a tougher fight. Got Em!!

Again, RING has the number one P4P spot VACANT. Tied for number 2 is Pac and Floyd. Behind them is Martinez. You can't say what he is saying doesn't hold much weight when he is ranked right behind those guys AND can possibly fight one of them. So I guess RING doesn't know the sport of boxing? I mean if we use your logic, they don't because they DON'T have Floyd at number one.

Boy oh boy do u really wanna go back and fourth on the same subject? Anyone that knows boxing or atleast the majority of folks will tell u that Floyd is and has been the best in the business. If u dont think so thats fine. Even if Martinez doesnt think so thats fine also. He would be in the minority though and thats all I am saying. Not much more is needed to be said on this matter. Its really all opinion anyway and we form our own opinions. Got Em!!

I'm going back and forth because you don't seem to comprehend what is being explained and 206 and myself keep trying to explain it to you. Do you know how RING gets it's P4P ratings? If you did, we wouldn't be having this convo, you wouldn't be saying Manny is ducking Sergio and some of the other misconceptions you're putting out there. You wouldn't be tellign me what the majority of people are saying if you knew how Ring came to it's conclusions. So it isn't a matter of what I, HERESY, think. The FACT is the number one P4P spot is VACANT. You have TWO people at number two and one person at number three. The number three has a chance to fight ONE of those guys. Now would I say Floyd is the best in the world? Yes, and I've said it multiple times that he is the best. So if we forget about Ring's p4p, and we say he is number one, we can't say "Who cares about Martinez and his opinion" when Martinez is ranked THREE and has the chance to fight THE BEST. I'm not going over this again fam because you should have it by now.

Click the following link and you'll see what the Ring says about the current P4P ratings.

http://ringtv.craveonline.com/ratings
