Of course there's a difference, regardless of that the issues are still there that breeds the mentality that my hood is the hardest. So understand why someone will feel that way about there area cause that's all they now, that's been their reality, their not worrying about what's going on in the next city.
I do agree with you that the hoods of Dago make up a smaller percentage size wise, compared to alot of other cities.
One thing I wanted to know is, what's the percentage of crime for certain parts of the city(southeast, east dago, national city, etc.) compared to the rest of the city. In other words, what percentage of the cities crimes take place in these areas?

That final question you raise is a good one, it is possible that San Diego is a little more polarized crime wise than other cities b/c there are so many white folks w/ money living within the city limits, as opposed to other cities where anybody who's white and has money is never going to set foot except for a ballgame downtown. I don't have an opinion on that San Diego specific question obviously b/c I'm not a San Diego native and the stuff I do is from a broader perspective.
Two Questions:
1) Give me some zip codes that are in Southeast, East and National City.
2) Try to tell me where I was at last time I was in San Diego, we drove across the bridge to Coronado Island where all the military stuff was and then I think we drove straight south from there along the water and then I think we were back on the mainland and we stopped at this McDonald's, does that ring a bell or is that too little information? Where was I?
