berto said himself he wanna fight mosley, than cotto before he would fight manny. he knows himself he ain't ready. KO was nice and made him feel a lil more confident. imo i wouldnt mind seein him and pac fight even though he'll get mollywhopped. still though if it aint the pussy vs pac i wanna see pac vs marquez.

Berto hasn't done shit in his career to even be mentioned in the same breath of a mayweather, pacman ro even mosley even at this time. Name me one a class fighter on his resume? and he barley got past collazo(they gave him that fight). I'm not hating on berto, he just needs to step his resume up and fill up some seats, before thinking of the big dogs.

tony, your whole defense with berto is that he's undefeated. Yeah, so is julio cesar chavez jr. We've been over this. Berto's resume is laughable:

Freddy Hernandez
Carlos Quintana
Juan Urango (from 140)
Luis Collazo
Steve Forbes (from 140)
Miguel Angel Rodriguez (this is where berto won the vacant title which was a joke)
Michel Trabant
David Estrada
Cosme Rivera
Martinus Clay
Norberto Bravo
James Crayton
Roberto Valenzuela
Sammy Sparkman

Who wouldn't be undefeated with that resume?

He's fought one B class fighter in Luis Collazo who arguably beat him. He's fought a couple C class fighters and the rest are D's and F's. He's never fought an elite fighter.

Ideally what I would like to see is Berto and Mosley fight eachother and maybe winner fights Pac. If Berto wins then he would legitely deserve a crack at Pacquiao (or Mayweather). Or Pac should just wait and see what happens with bradley-alexander.

And for the record I'm not argueing that I don't think pac should fight berto, I think it's funny that you can say with 100% certainty that berto beats pacquiao based on absolutely nothing being that berto's accomplishments are next to nothing.

And bigface, calling Berto slick is slap in the face to any slick fighter. Berto isn't slick. He's defense is clinching. He has very little head movement, his footwork is a mess (often off balance and stumbling) and his defense is shaky. He has very fast hands though, and maybe people automatically think if you have fast hands your slick, which obviously isn't the case.

Tony, I told you Pac-Man fans are too funny. If the fight don't make money Manny doesn't have to fight. But Mayweather is suppose to fight everyone no matter the money. But Manny fights for pride and Mayweather only cares about money. One double standard after another. Manny has built a resume off of beating up on shot fighters with a name. Cotto, Cottley, Hatton, and Maragrito all coming off losses fought Manny, but a undefeated 147lb champion with two KO's in his last two fights don't deserve a fight with Manny. Pure Comedy.

Me and Tony are getting sick of Manny fighting shot fighters and his fans hyping it up like it's so great. I just want to see Manny fight a fighter that is not coming off of a bad beating loss. Fight someone with some hand-speed and defense. It's easy to look good against someone that has no defense, flat-footed, and coming off a bad beating loss in their previous fight. Cotto, Hatton, and Maragrito come to mind..

2-0-Sixx, Answer this question is Berto slicker then Cotto
No

yes

clottey's defense shits on berto's

Maragrito?
Margarito is the opposite of slick. Point is berto isn't slick either.

Berto deserves a big fight why not against Manny??
Berto doesn't deserve a shot at mayweather or pacquiao at this moment to be honest, as he hasn't fought anyone. I don't think mosley deserves a shot at pacquiao either as he looks like shit. Out of the three, the only guy that deserves a shot at pacquiao is Marquez, based on his recent wins, his consistency, and his all time great resume.

And about the money thing, floyd turned down big money fights though. He had a chance to make $7-$8 Million against Margarito. He could have fought Cotto for probably more than that after his two big money fights with oscar and ricky but chose to retire for two years instead, so I think the circumstances are a little different.

But like I mentioned pac is in a tricky spot because no matter who he fights next, as long as it's not mayweather he's going to get criticized. If it's berto then he's fighting an untested unworthy opponent, shane an old man, marquez above his best weight. He's going to get heat any which way he goes. So this will be his weakest PPV for a while most likely, might as well have it on free HBO just to have people shut up

I'm just getting sick of seeing the so-called great Manny fighting the same come forward, no defense have, half-way shot fighters he has been fight since Marquez 2. Berto is in his prime, he is not shot, and he doesn't know how to lose yet. Why not give the young lion his chance? He looked better then Maragrito getting the shit beat out of him by Mosley, and better then Cotto getting beat half to death by Maragrito and Cottley. But those half shot fighters got there chance why can't a undefeated Berto get a shot.

I'm not arguing with you bigface that I wouldn't prefer berto over mosley, i've stated countless times that I in fact prefer a unification bout with berto, what I'm saying is I doubt they (bob arum) will select berto because the ppv will do very poorly and marquez or mosley would do much better.

like I said berto really should have tried to fight a marque name the last couple years but blame his manager Al Haymon for that for feeding him nobodies. Also HBO is partially to blame for over paying his ass who makes bigger named guys turned away because berto's purse demands are so ridiculous.

@Bigface, the Manny Pacquiao fans (excluding 206) on here are being exposed as hypocrites. Pac's camp is doing what the Floyd critics have said Floyd does. Floyd fought a Prime Corrales when he was undefeated. Floyd fought an undefeated Ricky Hatton when he too was undefeated.

Who is Manny Pacquiao fighting? The same circle of losers. Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, and now possibly Shane.

They're going to continue to say that Berto isn't worthy enough even though he's currently a champ.

I'd say great fight, he beat an undefeated opponent and unified the titles. Great accomplishment! Floyd is out of the question right now so I don't know why you keep bringing him up.
