Honestly, I'm stuck in the past when it comes to Rap, fuck today's shit. All you rappers are influenced by outside sources (South, Hyphy, Crunk, whatever the fuck), I hear it in the beats, I hear it in the lyrics and basically just the whole vibe and the way shit's delivered. There's no soul or orginalness, it's all copy cat sounds. I don't really even dig Mitchy Slick that much to be honest. The majority of the songs on USS were garbage IMHO. Songs like Basschaser, Coldest Nigga Out are horrible. Shit's wierd, I'd never bump that in my ride. Need more of a sound like Drug Flippin'. The only real rapper from Dago that has caught my attention lately is Ecay Uno.

so why cant someone listen to ecay uno and snoop and be the same person? its hella not 1997 where theres some divide between underground and mainstream...seems like when i was at LC janets release party everyone in there was playing snoops album..and i coulda swore i saw ecay say that snoop is the best crip artist ever in a thread..so what if snoop inspired ecay at some point to create the music you consider is incredible talent....its weird how you put up a wall against certain artists seemingly because of their placement in the music industry.

Its kool to give some constructive criticism, but just naming out names with such a vague description, that's not really being proper. And I guess being anonymous helps to "talk out the ass". Everyone has a different sound, so shit is not gonna appeal to some kats as it would to others.
