In all fairness, it has been a minute since I even took a listen, Someone gave me a copy of "The Next Level" so maybe you aint all about club music..I just remembered that there really was not anything that I was feelin.

Now I aint say fuck the Cor they wack, they need to quit...Im just sayin they could use some improvement. Even the song with Big June, Storman Norman And Tiny O I wasn't feelin, and I like most ( not all ) their music, so it isn't bias or hate...Its just straight talk. When I judge music..I usually go by...is there any songs I need to put in a playlist..because even though some albums aint that great , many have a few songs that are heat. I just didn't get any song on your album that made me want to listen to them ever again.
Now I feel if someone says they aint feelin your shit you can do one of many things, but I think the smart thing is either do not respond, or respond humble like and say somethin like " We always workin on our craft.. I know you aint like anything this time but we pushin hard and trying to perfect our craft so check us out the next time....If I heard that I would be like..oh yeah I will....but when artists can not accept that they aint as hot as they think, then why check for more of the same quality shit the next time?

I never really got why these threads get up. I mean everyone thinks differently and each musician sounds differently to many people.

It seems to serve a purpose of puttin down artists you dont like (personal choice). Bekuz honestly, I like Big June, I like Sonny bo, I like Sick Beav and 12 Gauge...

I aint a rapper, but I gotta give it up to these katz that are out there grindin, doing their part to put up San Diego and West Coast.

Like Supa Savd out said we should not have to back up any artist because they are from an area? Support good music. I am gald these threads get put up its a balance between riding dick and hatin. If every thread was just some promotional type shit it would not be very interesting and I would think an artist would want all feedback good and bad...cause some artists are surrounded by homies sayin they the shit, when they aint.. a good dose a reality may inspire the artists to get better..

I have enough confidence in myself that i know what i do as an artist is tight and i will NEVER need no nigga tellin me my shit sucks or its dope....i really do appreciate when people tell me im dope, but those compliments come from me WORKING HARD....they are just duebecause at the end of the day when i sit down and create some shit i do it because i'm talented at what i do, i was born talented at it and i'll continue to be good at it, and that shit dosent come from me just making a few pen strokes it comes from weeks and months of hour after hour work....no matter who the fuck likes me or hates me.

Good point man. Its seems katz are easy to say something, but not back it with something to offer as "evidence".

You do the opposite. You support your opinion with evidence. So that is where I'd like to see shit. If someone is gonna post their opinion, they need to back it up. That way it can be view upon as constructive criticism instead.

Obviously, I'm not involved with music like you, or am an artist myself or anything. I'm just a fan, so you have a more indepth view, then I would.

I cant speak for some of the artists named because I havent sat down and listen to their music, but I feel Big June, Sonny Bo, Sick Beav and 12 Gauge were good. Cant please everyone and I aint dick riding anyone, but like you said, some katz are just haters off the bat.

Brief Clarification

I agree with a lot of whats been said. i dont get bent out of shape if someone personally doesn't like my muzik. I been gettin hated on since day one. I didn't just start making muzik yesterday. I been rappin since elementary. Baby Skar will tell you that. When my brother Ajamu did that track for Photographs, he was actively tryin to skoop me up, but big bro had plans for me. But to get to the point. There is a lot of "flack" I received from my own homies and if you from my jurisdiction you know what im talkin about. First it was because I was Ajamu's lil brother, and or because niggaz felt if they had him behind them, they would of been harder. Or because I was from The Bottoms and not the brook.. Then it was my delivery way too laid back, at the time erybody was feelin them extra boisterous Mc's. When Steve Hartman of the Batkave & I dropped the H2Bo in 02 some of my own homies was not likin the fact that i was fuckin wit him when back in the day the homies got into it wit him and his click. I say all this to say I dont take it personal but when someone makes a personal attack on the boy, im quick to fire back. I been that way my whole life. You aint got to like me, but you are gonna respect me. Or we gonna have an issue. You dont have to like my muzik, if you dont it aint for you. Shit I never was the type to make muzik just for my homies anyway. I learned early that they aint all gonna buy it which is supporting it, not just burning it and mashin it. Shit some wont even come to ya venue if you cant get em in for free. Lol.. But to sum it all up, good look to 50 Cal, I believe you gave me some constructive criticism, you said i need to be more consistent. I agree. 2 things 50

1st. I personally DO take negative opinions in stride. Shit don't phase me and I DO like to hear it if it's an honest opinion and not for other reasons.

But 2nd... Theres a big difference between "Feedback" and just dissin.

If you worked as a grocery bagger, and one day someone just walked up to you and said, "Hey, you, KID! You SUCK"

You'd be like.... FUCK YOU

If they were coming thru your line one day and said, "Hey man, you would do a lot better not to put heavy stuff on top of my eggs. And pick up the pace a little bit"

NOW THAT, is feedback. And MUST be accepted.

Now I personally only accept feedback from certain sources. Cuz some muthafuckas really do just hate for one reason or another or just dont know what they talkin about. Like even positive feedback. Somebody might like a song or whatever and I just brush it off cuz you dont know what youre talking about.

Point is...

Theres a difference between what youre calling "Feedback" and just telling somebody they suck while you gigglin and typing on the computer. Some shit you prolly aint never said to nobody face to face.

Honestly, I'm stuck in the past when it comes to Rap, fuck today's shit. All you rappers are influenced by outside sources (South, Hyphy, Crunk, whatever the fuck), I hear it in the beats, I hear it in the lyrics and basically just the whole vibe and the way shit's delivered. There's no soul or orginalness, it's all copy cat sounds. I don't really even dig Mitchy Slick that much to be honest. The majority of the songs on USS were garbage IMHO. Songs like Basschaser, Coldest Nigga Out are horrible. Shit's wierd, I'd never bump that in my ride. Need more of a sound like Drug Flippin'. The only real rapper from Dago that has caught my attention lately is Ecay Uno.
