I gotta say, just like the mainstream, SD is way too saturated with the same conventional rappers that there still is no typical regional sound... We're in a serious situation where everyone out here is rappin about the same everyday shit & have no creativity nor imagination & theyre also desperate to go mainstream......
Dago is 100% indie & needs to have its own sound just like the Bay, Sac, Valley & so on... We'll never blow up to be the next LA or any other major metropolis so stop dreamin u rappers...

Honestly I have nothing against The Cor for doin their thing & makin their music but I can actually see that theyre the type that would go mainstream to even "pop"...

I would say that your music is for the clubs, and the youngsters tryin to have a good time....Sounds weird that no one would like that ha? but Everyone has there own preferences...Whether it be Gangsta, or lyrical like a canibus or Rass Kass. I think artists are at a challenging time and I think rap music is dying slowly not because of online downloads although thats a part, but a target audience (white) who bought most rap when it was at its peak ..they are on some other music now as well. So we will see where this takes us

i think all u independent record label bosses should chip in on one record label, then start signing people. Concentrate on 1 or maybe 2 mc's max. Then push them. Everybody is trying blow up quick at the same time but we hardly even got 1 dude that has a name for himself. Just my opinion. If i had crazy money thats what i'd do

lyrically, as long as you like yo shit and you bustin from yo heart, some amount of niggaz is gonna feel what you sayin. whether they been thru that specifically or not, they can tell YOU mean it. and hopefully, you have some sort of musical ability to make the shit sound good. and if you know how to carry yourself and have something about you that interests people... and if youre smart enough to see the cold angles niggaz be throwin in the game.. and if you can hustle up some money to push yo shit....

real shit, i dont really give a fuck about making money in rap no more. im pushin cuz i love my music and want people to hear it. im pushin cuz i love the westcoast and think i can help play a part in bringin some attention back out here. cuz im a good leader and a real nigga wit a heart thats struggled hard and balled hard too. im pushin cuz i got a lot to say about a lot of shit. but the hustle is just a force of habit.

There's a few catz that I don't feel simply because I'm bias at times and I understand that I'mnot giving them a fair chance at play time...but the niggas that should stop rapping the most is Bloodstone the Street Preacher and C Siccness. I never LOL'd through a album so much before I heard these 2 dudes.
