Downtown, Pittsburg. Southeast Dago.
man, we all need to pool our money together and buy out a few gallons....hire a chemist to make it....its not even that hard.....create a front as a chemical distributor and get actavis to give us a case..somethings gotta give...its funny how the place that manufactures the syrup is one of the biggest heroin hubs in the naiton (baltimore) but it is what it is....

yall needs ta be keepin in contact with me...you know how the bottles come and go..

and to the comment evil genius made....you know what in the beginning of times maybe 6-7 years ago i didnt lke bay loc because...well....honestly i just wasnt in the type of lifestyle or had the same problems that made me relate. i was lke fresh out of college and he was fresh out of jail...i got a little older and now i realize how much skill was in his lyrics...so thats kinda another reason im keeping quiet in here. i've constantly ended up liking rapper that i at one point, didn't like...

but theres alot of people that have been mentioned that are cool to me

like marty mcphly i mean.....i can understand how someone wouldnt like him...but to me he's a barrel of fucking laughs and is really entertaining...this nigga said hes so hungry hes hungarian...roflmao

to me, and im gonna quote 50 cent..its about how a rapper says something more than what he said..and some people just dont get that shit..theyre looking for internse lyricism and like...riddles and playing with rhyme words hella hard and all that shit...they want you to be like the guy they consider to be the best rapper...when you create something i think you create it with a vibe in mind...i dont think any mc ever really puts songs out thinking that the entire world is going to use it as their official song to jack off with to until they die...shits wack its wack..and if you like it then its dope everyone has their own individual realities...its not gonna make the next blunt rolled any less tight and its not gonna make wifeys pussy any wacker its just a song and you either feel a certain way about it or you realize intangible objects aint worth you fussin' about....thats why this shit didnt take off in the bay area forum but was made there..aint no reason to hate on no one at all we need to love one another more out here.

Most of you guys are on point with who's wack. But the truth is that barely any of our san diego rapper's are putting in work. I few weak ass shows here and there, a bunch of compilations with horrible presentation and no units being moved. And 70% of them are rapping like it's still the 90's. It's 2009. Find some new beats, rap about some up 2 dated shit! and get out and grind like back in the days. Indi means indi. That means you still have to get out and do it youyrself. Everybody acts like they've made it already.

I sound like an 80's rapper.. that is my style.

Naw, I'm just saying, give examples if you wanna "help".

Its easy to criticize and say its 09, sound like it... give dudes a sample of how you do it. How 09 is your skill?

You post your myspace page so we can all see how its done.

@ KinDaBackPocket......That's exactly the attitude that our young rapper's have and that's why they are so lazy! So why can't they get out and grind like back in the days?? why not?? have you ever watched any documentary's on jay-z, biggie, just to name a few. They used to go to all the clubs and deal with all the dj's, and do lots of other things that i could name but i know yall don't want to read a long ass post. Plain and simple san diego rappers are lazy as fuck. And not consistant for shit! Im not surprised at all at how messed up our rap game is. Everybody want the shine but have no grind. PERIOD!

@ f31roger.....If you truly sound like a 80's rapper then im sure your rap career is not doing to well. And that's not a diss. Im not trying to disrespect anybody in anyway. But alot of people on here give bullshit answer's and pump the heads up of certain rapper's that need to really get a reality check. And im not a rapper. Im a fan of music.

So my dude, get a bar of what i do, and shoot a reply on that..

times are NOT like back in the days either. So grinding is different. Artists get on forums and websites to spread their word... but also the net has also hurt grinding because people have access to alot of these materials that others upload.

there are alot of clubs, but not all are willing to pay for someone they dont know of. DJ's dont spin as much local underground like back in the days, Tv and radio dont play as much either. But you should know this. And its funny specifically said SD rappers, its actually not the only city/region. And again as a fan you should know that the mainstream/industry look for whats hot and what gimmick to run with, not talent anymore. Its why you see alot of good dudes without deals, while some kat can make up a dance or talk about clubs and make money. I also feel its a generation thing. Industry looking for "who's the NEWEST rapper outta.....". When there are alot of good rappers out there, established, good fan bases.

Are you Banksta? I was being sarcastic with my statement. As for bullshit answers, you need to step it up as well. Cant tell people "sound like 09, because its 09". as it was brought up earlier, dont be vague, be specific. You cant change people's voices (naturally) or where their from (which effects what they talk about majority of the time). But back it up too. Post a vid or song to show comparison. Like I said, your asking me for myspace page, so you can judge me, because I responded? You want people to sound HOW YOU WANT THEM TO, and how is that gonna happen?

If you are a fan of music, you'd just accept shit the way it is. You either like it or you dont. You'll like one song and not play the ones you dont like. That is how I roll. I aint nobody to judge, I dont have any singing or talent like these katz. I do judge what I buy though. I also give a fair listen to many people I am not up on or know about.

Their aint nothing wrong with "rapping" like the 90's. I dont mind that. As long as I can bump it and feel it, then its all good. Someone brought big june up, I liked flamed up, sounded dope to me.

I'm pretty sure alot of shit doesnt get played everywhere. Especially if its bias . You was in the BART section getting up on Smigg's thread, saying shit like "40 glocc" and "Spider loc". I'm pretty sure its the same way down in SD, aint nobody bumpin their music, possibly anyone from those projects as well, unless its some well known name.

and I fail to see what naming off crip territories and talking about fighting have anything to do with this thread. While we off topic, are you street fighting like Kimbo used to or are you actually working with a legitimate fight organization?
