lol, I'm done with this topic... I think I made my point fair enough, and I understand some people disagree with it.. if I argue anymore about it I think I might have a heart attack & end up passin that "tax burden" onto yall right now instead of waitin until I'm in my 60's. :)

I will say tho that illegal immigration is another topic I'm very passionate about.. not only ILLEGAL immigration, but also LEGAL immigration especially where I'm at in St. Paul, we have the second highest Hmong population in the country... I'm not racist by any means, but these people are coming here living tax free, getting free handouts right and left, taking over our schools, etc.. part of the reason we pulled our daughter out of public school and started homeschooling her is because the public school where she was going was overran by a Hmong population to the point of the paperwork they were sending home with her was entirely written in HMONG on the front page, with half on the back in Spanish and half in English on the bottom... THINK ABOUT THAT! You wanna know where a large majority of welfare is going in this country? TO THE IMMIGRANTS, legal and illegal... like I said, I'm all for them getting a fair chance in this country, but for shit's sake, WORK FOR IT! And at least make an attempt to learn the primary language of the country you're immigrating to. All sorts of programs that benefited the middle class have been CUT in this city in order to provide more help to the Hmongs... public housing waiting lists are backed up years and the people who have been waiting and need housing are waiting longer because THEY get moved to the top of the lists automatically... seriously, if people actually took the time to find out how seriously fucked our immigration policies are, there would be massive outrage...

I'm crossed on immigration. The so-called founders of this place were immigrants, and so are all the folks here for the exception of the natives. Plus a good amount of folks ] immigrating here, especilly from the Americas and South East Asia have done so because of our tampering with their countries and governments. At the same time, when you come your ass over here leave your money here, and learn the damn language, don't think your better than folks that have a real history in this country, etc., and work.

When i used to work at a gas station used to piss me off when someone would come in and say how much gas they wanted in spanish, and expect me to understand it. All i did was say "what? what?" until they said it in english.

The problem is immigrants rape our social and public service benefits. Those costs get passed on to us. If you are not documented you should not be able to reap our fruits so to speak. I am not against the immigrants but think something should be done to address this issue. This alone would probably save billions.

Yeah, I'm not racist by any means (except for when I'm driving) and all I see are these people here with Medi-Cal and Medicare insurance, which we are all paying for.

to be honest with you..

American citizens are the ones that abuse it more than immigrants and the reason why? Because immigrants can't apply for programs/benefits that require citizenship.


Some of you people kind of crack me up at times....

and as far as the Healthcare Reform ...it won't benefit us at all....read it all the other day and I disagree with a lot of the shit its about...

I can agree with you guys that if you come here, you should learn the language..

I know a shit load of Latino's/Mexican's that been here for 20+ years and they still don't know or don't want to learn the English language...I tell them that they should go back to their countries if they don't want to live how we live in the U.S. ...
