Selling out isn't a good thing. I'm sure you'll say, "being a cop isn't selling out" but...taking money for a job that enforces oppressive laws sure as fuck is, especially when you work for the system that constantly fucks people who aren't rich.
And dont' say, "I'd go in to make things better." That's a crock of shit too. People might think they are doing that, but your job is to enforce laws that you do/don't agree with on people that you don't/do know and it's ALL subjective, which the law doesn't seem to understand. Or shall I say, most Americans and the idiots they elect don't understand that our system is fucked and doesn't help people.
I know you're ex-Navy or whatever, but come on....does the word "tool" ever come into your mind?

^like i said i'm just asking, unemployment, the fact that I can't get severance pay and have a mountain of bills that need to be paid makes me wanna listen a little but like i said even if i did want to be a cop which i don't they wouldn't take me because i have a DUI.

I know you didnt' say you were going to become a cop, but considering shit like that just so you can stay out of debt is retarded (that's obviously my opinion)...I mean, does debt REALLY matter? Not really that much...all this, "i need to raise my credit" score shit is fucking stupid....give it a good 5 years and I bet we wont even have paper money or paper checks anymore....that's off topic, but not too far...

Joining the navy was probably the smartest thing i did in my life. If i didn't i would have most likley have went to prison by now. Don't talk about shit you don't know nothing about. You think your any less of a tool in whatever rinky dink job you have your sadly mistaken, your just helping some rich asshole get richer if you even have a job. I'm glad that joining the navy worked out for you, and I do know enough about the way that shit works to speak on it. I know exactly what type of person the recruiters target, and I know the jargon they use on young people to make them think that it's the only way out. The fact that you think you would have ended up in prison if you didn't join says a whole lot. That's what most people think who end up joining.
I don't think I'm any better than you are by any means, and I am definitely not saving the world by myself. But I can tell you that I was NEVER part of a group/system that has murdered millions of innocent people for the sake of a few people becoming rich off of it, or for any other reason.
