So your father owes your mother $200k?
Child support takes the $200k from the bank and leaves your father in a fucked up debt..
out of the $200k child support will take $50k for themselves (interest money), yes I know..it's bullshit!
You're not $150k richer, your mother is..since the checks go to her!
but you won't see the $150k right away, the child support will send that money in "monthly payments" .... ha ha

He can open another bank account ..but this time make sure he opens one and not use his SS# ...a different address and yes, a different bank..

it was like a 3 page letter and it had the balance on the second page i believe, just took a quick snap of it to show you the letter. wasnt trying to freak my dad out by taking pics, dont think he'd understand what i was doing lol. he had a second receipt from citizens so he gave it to me.

they actually froze the account so there wont be fees. i couldnt fucking believe it. i didnt beleive my dad on that one but because of it being a huge amount his attorney had it writing that they wont charge him any additional fees from the bank. fucking weird cause citizens bank sucks dick.

yeah she already got a call about it i guess but they want to wait and see if my pops takes it to court. we want to just give the money back to him but he said not to lol. he's fucked. if he absolutely dont want shit back then we plan on splitting it. but i think after knowing he can face jail time for owing that much he's gonna want it back lol.

The thing that doesn't make any sense to me about this situation is that its the bank thats getting fucked, not your pops. They can sue your dad for the money, but obviously they're not gonna be able to recoup that from him. So how is it they allow that to happen? Mass must have some weird ass CS laws because the gov just fucked that bank out of a cool quarter mill. Citizens bank just paid your dads back child support.
yeah but owing the bank that much has consequences in itself though, not sure what but dad seems the least bit worried. he's done 5 year stretches so a year probably aint shit to him. and he's never relied on government shit like paychecks and licenses. he finds under the table jobs and when he doesnt well lets just say he ends up in prison again lol. in my dads perspective he paid off 1 debt to get another so it's really nothing different only people he loves are gonna be gettin money lol. i dunno shit is crazy though which is why i wanted some input.
The thing is he didn't defraud the bank, so there's no criminal act there, they can sue him in civil court, but thats just gonna fuck up his credit. Owing money to the government is a different issue, and not paying child support is a criminal matter--you can go to jail for it. So from your dads perspective, and I'm gonna go ahead and assume he already has the lowest credit score possible, he just got out of his child support debt. Like I said before, its the bank that really got fucker here.
hahah wow no wonder he wants us to have the money. well believe it or not my pops is a good man just in and out of jail too much so everyone makes out but a shitty bank so thats fucking awesome. my pats lost the superbowl, my celtics are sucking, my job went under due to ecomony it's about time things up for me this year.

although it seems stupid to do something like that, your a grown man and dont seem to need pops around, and if hes ok with doin another small stretch just so you guys can live comfortably...then thats a man whos hand id appreciate shaking and this world needs more people like him (although i hope hes not ending up in prison over a crime which leaves people hurt or dead)
i dont justify what hes doin, but i give that man props if what hes doin is nothin but a thang to him...most men crumble at the idea of losing freedom once in life...to do it over and over and willing for family, no matter what the outcome, is another thing
