well they both had a brawling type style tonight so it made for good action but maybe Berto left himself open a lot cuz of it but still he got the better of his opponenet

Manny, Maragrito, and Cotto are all easy to hit but people hype them up to no end. It's funny to me because if any fighter other then Berto was in a 4 knockdown all action fight they would be hyped up as a true warrior in boxing. Yet, Berto gets no credit for fighting his ass off and finishing the fight after being very hurt in the 1st round of the Ortiz fight. Yes, Berto is easy to hit but he is also damn funny to watch. His hand speed and punching power makes up for his bad defense. I want to see him fight one of the big dogs at 147lb.

. Anyways he gets more props than he deserves IMO HBO hype him so much everytime he fights
Thats what im sayin!! they were making it seem like berto put on a flawless performance! They need to fire max kellerman, the whole time Russell was putting on a clinic, max was only talking about why he didnt KO the dude. Or questioning if he would go 12 rounds with a determined fighter!! but when berto was fighting the only commentated on the positive things berto did, they stayed away of how shitty he was fighting!

They didn't even fathom the possibility that the cut was caused by a headbutt either. Jan took several during clinches I've seen some animated gifs of them posted on other sites. I dunno seemed like the same berto to me not new and improved and who knows about his stamina he seemed to be slowing down a bit and clinching alot at the end. Maybe that was strategy but more likely he was getting winded. But I did like his body attack very effective.

I actually would like to see a rematch if not Mike Jones vs berto would be a dope scrap

Bailey is a strange guy. Sometimes you see him and he looks terrible and then either of his gloves makes contact with their face and they go unconscious. Considering Berto has been stumbled, down and badly hurt before I'd like to see it, especially since Bailey's been able to land a crushing punch at any time no matter how bad he's hurt himself.

IMO, the best one puncher out there right now.

I watched the fight again and Berto has a very good chin. Berto breaking Zaveck's body down was a work of art. Berto will give every single top guy at 147lb big problems. His hand-speed, body attack, punching power, and he recovers from being hurt so fast. I can't wait to see Berto fight again. All he needs to do is work on his defense.

Seriously, unbelievable puncher.

Another guy that has wicked power but doesn't always use it is Kendall Holt. That guy knocks people silly sometimes but at other times it's like he's punching with half his power. He even said that he doesn't punch at full power and tries to box more at times which is weird to me.

Russell is nice but he's getting way over-hyped by the HBO staff which of course is typical. I thought Berto was the same ol' Berto. If the fight went any longer I could see he getting gassed. I'd like to see a re-match overseas.
