I'll be lightweight cheering for Milk Dud, he's 42 years old now and I don't really like how Green has been fighting these older guys like Roy Jones, Paul Briggs, etc. I didn't like when he said "to become a legend you must beat a legend" after he beat Roy Jones lol kind of a joke but whatever, he's making good money so good for him.

I think Green will win by decision. Tarver even though old still has a strong chin and enough skills to put up a decent fight.

Antonio Tarver Stops Danny Green, Wins The IBO Crown

By Chris LaBate

At the Entertainment Centre in Sydney, Australia, Antonio Tarver (29-6, 20KOs) stopped Danny Green (31-4, 27KOs) within nine rounds to capture the IBO cruiserweight title. Tarver, 42-years-old, dedicated the win to Nick Charles, who recently passed away from cancer.

A feeling out process by both in the first round. In the second round, a left hand sent Danny Green down. He was able to recover well and continued. In the third, Green doing well but getting punished against the ropes in the final minute. The fight continued in the same pattern for the next couple of rounds, with Green allowing Tarver to come forward and box, while he tried to look for power shot counters. The strategy was allowing Tarver to pile up the points.

In the seventh, Green changed his style from boxer to brawler and started coming forward throwing big punches. He was shaking Tarver up to the head and body. The shots to the body were key. They were making Tarver's hands drop and Green would hurt him to the head.

For some reason Green went back to his counterpunching style in the eight, which made the fight shift back to Tarver. In the final ten seconds Green landed a big right hand and Tarver took it well. Green went back to the body in the ninth, trying to go after Tarver but not doing enough. In the final minute, Tarver had a huge barrage of punches as he punished Green against the ropes. Green was nearly gone as the round closed and he wobbled badly back to his corner.

Before the start of the tenth, Green's corner stopped the fight.

LOL. I'm glad Milk Dud knocked that bum out. That's what he gets for fighting past prime fighters. Because when you fight someone with some gas in the tank you will get a reality check. I hope other fighters are paying attention

billy dib is funny. I think Shane Mosley "discovered" him a few years back and signed him to golden boy. How come there are always brawls and crazy shit happening every time the kid fights? Let me know the background, details, etc.

What about Anthony Mundine? lol. I hear Austin Trout is going to fight him next. Here is an article:

I love Michael Katsidis though, that guy is a true warrior win lose or draw. He always gives 100% of himself no matter what.

katsidis is a beast, don't know him personally though.

mundine is getting old now, I think sadly it's over for him, if he was boxing pro at an earlier age he could of become something special. top bloke but everyone hates him because he knows how to sell out a fight lol.

billy dib, I don't know him personally, but I went to school with his cousins, true story we were playing tips and his cousin Mo fell on the corner of a brick just missing his eye socket there was a hole in his head lol. another time he got tackled playing rugby and had to go to hospital, the guy that tackled him went on to become a good pro rugby league player. Fights always in the crowd cause of the entourage and fans, this is normal for boxers down my way, my area is the worst of the worst when it comes to producing thugs lol something we are proud of no doubt. not even a ghetto or w/e we just have a stockpile of the worst cunts, bikies who run the country everyone knows everyone. I heard Dib is a good bloke though.

Dib is probably about to lose coming up anyway. Dude gets a bad rep for his one bad fight in the states against Luevano where it was just a terrible fight.

Australia is housing one of the best prospects right now and dude gets no play it seems.

Green seemed off the whole fight. I'm not saying dude's a world beater but just looked like complete shit last night. It's kind of crazy how many opportunities to make money Tarver just fought himself into .. a lot of good fights out there for him.
