but he's been KO'd 5 times and took some real beatings in his career, it's just not adding up under bigface logic. He must be shot. Not past prime or lost a step or two, this is certified shot we're talking about. I mean how can he beat Lopez & Yamaguchi, who apparently aren't very good, and knock down and give a hell of a fight in Gamboa, who you call elite? It just doesn't compute! 5 KO losses, real beatings and yet knocks down Gamboa and wins rounds and goes the full distance? something isn't right! Oh and he also beat Robert Guerrero! wtf is going on here!?!?!

you can't take either of your theories and apply them to boxing in general because every fighter is different. Do some fighters take beatings and are never the same again, physically and mentally? yes. Can some fighters come off losses and still shine? yes
