Jargal started out as a one dimensional come forward, face first, power puncher and somewhere along the lines tried to turn himself into a boxer that hasn't seem to work for him much. I didn't see his last fight but I saw the draw before that against James Hope in a fight that he should have been able to win clean but he decided to try and be a boxer.

Hopefully the draw + loss combo make him resort to his whole self and it should make for some entertainment against Prescott .. even if he boxes he probably should be able to beat Prescott since he's been fairly terrible.

Joe Hanks has beaten some decent fighters .. not sure why he's in there with a scrub, but he is and he should win easy and early.

.. and Andrade is a former Olympian who's fighting a guy who's only loss is to Keith Thurman (a fucking crusher). So it should be pretty interesting.

damn, showtime might scrap the entire card this saturday and postpone it hopefully if king kong gets better. or they may try to continue if they can pull something out of their ass to take it's place, not sure if they can on such a short notice. I wanted to see Vic vs Perez at least.

Damn that sucks. Hopefully Showtime doesn't postpone the entire card. Darchinyan Vs. Perez is still an awesome fight and can stand alone IMO. Just knock up Williamson Vs. Marrone as a guaranteed fight to end in a stoppage and let it roll..

per Eric Gomez they're working on Tomoki Kameda who has a fight scheduled for May 7th.

The little Mexican would be cool as fuck if he stepped in and that would be a solid ass fight. might be asking too much too late though.

That would be a dope addition. I've seen a few of Tomoki's fights but they've been against scrubs. I've been trying to find his fight against Jamoye which seems to be his toughest fight but have had no luck..

Agbeko is awkward and not too many people have been able to really look good against him. To me, Mares is the best in the division and is just getting better and better. Great movement, solid punches, and a lot of heart.

I was betting on Mares and Darchinyan this weekend.

Damn, this sucks though. My Saturday night is ruined. I was really looking forward to both of these fights.

Looks like all that needs to happen is Showtime and Mares to OK it and it's ready to go:

Schaefer said that Golden Boy has had talks with representatives of Tomoki Kameda, a 19-year-old who is 18-0 with 12 knockouts, about stepping in to replace Agbeko. He said he’d have to get OKs from Mares and Showtime in order to do it, but said he is confident he can reach a deal with Kameda. Kameda’s older brother, Koki, holds a World Boxing Association version of the bantamweight title.

@danrafaelespn Perez-Darchinyan will be the only fight televised on the Showtime card Saturday night. Mares is off show with Agbeko out injured. #boxing about 2 hours ago

@danrafaelespn Showtime has announced that Saturday's card wil go on with Yonnhy Perez-Vic Darchinyan moving up to the main event. Good call by Showtime.

At first I thought you meant Tomoki would be fighting in an unrelated fight. Tomoki would've been in for a beating IMO, he hasn't fought anyone close to Mares' level and taken the fight on a late replacement he would've gotten crushed IMO. WAY too big of a step up..

Sucks the fight ended like that. Not to often u see blood splatter out like that lol. To me it looked like Perez just wasn't ready or prepared for Vics all out attack like he likes to do. He just didn't let his hands go enough it seemed even though the total punches landed were pretty close. Also it seems like Perez didn't really throw many hard shots to back Vic up.
