Fatal, I got mad love for you, but 6-1 > 5-0.

And if the Cards scored that TD, the second half would have been completely different. Who knows what would have happened.

In most standings, 5-0 > 6-1. That's one more win, but also one more loss.

Losing a SuperBowl ruins everything. Why do you think the NFL has their list set up this way:

http://www.nfl.com/superbowl/standings/superbowl

Pitt has more wins than every team above them, but they're still not ranked at the top.

And you guys should actually be 5-2, 0.714 but that's another story. Even with Pitt at 6-1, SF is still the greatest SuperBowl franchise of all time.

I know that list is just one man's opinion, but there are many, many similar lists and the Niners always have 3 in the top 10.

So jealousy is not a factor, as your fellow Steeler fan suggested.

Like I said, I'd rather be 5-0 than 6-1. If you guys were 6-0 with no tarnished records, I'd be jealous.

By the way, don't trip Stealth. It's only football talk. You know I got mad love for you as well.

Fatal that defense damn near lost them the game. The Cards took the lead after that pick was returned. Big Ben played with fractured ribs and lead the game winning drive. That TD pass to Holmes will get him in the hall of fame.
If the Cards took the lead after the pick was returned, after the momentum shifted heavily in Pitts direction, after it put the Cards down by 10 instead of tied at half, what the hell makes you believe the Cards wouldn't have blown Pitt out of the water in the second half if the momentum was actually ON their side?

I understand the logic that things would have been different in the 2nd half had the Steelers not made that INT for a TD, but logic tells you it would have been different IN THE CARDS FAVOR.

I don't know what it is about you Tony, but when you start riding nuts you ride them HARD.

Wow... just because mf's don't agree with you, you always talk that gay Castro stuff man. It's just a debate.... ain't nobody ridin' Ben's nuts. You just have a hard time giving credit where credit is due. If he was on the Niners and won 2 SB's you'd be on the other side of the fence throwing stones. You've got to be the master at discrediting. Ain't nobody ridin' nuts harder than you ride on Nate Clements nuts so keep it real. As soon as he gets burned you act like his broad and put the blame on someone else. You have a problem with realism. Big Ben will get into the hall of fame so quit hatin' with that gay talk.

so you're sayin that you would be happy with just one super bowl win and no losses? or would you be better with 6 super bowls and 1 loss?

Good point! Let's see what kind of weak excuse he comes up with now... 5-0 is better than 6-1? Puhlease.... it's about who has won more SB's period.

If our defense was responsible for those wins I'd be giving the defense the credit, not the QB. Don't try to tell me what I would be doing.

Get the fuck outta here. I don't even speak on Nate Clements until you ill-informed haters bring him up, and the only reason I bother is because you never know what the fuck you're talking about. Example:

Tony said:

We've been over this many times and you STILL have yet to produce any evidence of him getting burned like you claim he does.

And nobody rides nuts harder than you on Al Davis, so get the fuck on with that shit.

Nah I'm sayin I'm happy with 5 wins and no losses. The whole argument is dude is trying to bring up jealousy, there's nothing to be jealous about on our end. 6 wins is better than 5, obviously. I'm sayin I'd rather be 5-0 than 6-1, especially if one of the 6 was a joke. I'd definitely rather be 6-1 than 5-3 though so I don't expect you to feel me.

If we were something like 3-0 in the SuperBowl, I might be jealous of the Steelers. But aint no jealousy at the moment. They got one more win than us, and one more loss. The point is that whole "you're just jealous of us" argument is invalid, at least with us Niner fans. I can't speak on fans of any other team though.

And to add to this thread... a quarterback that's is 8-2 in the playoffs and 2-0 in SuperBowls so far won't make the Hall of Fame? LOL....

As great as Peyton Manning is his stats can't compare to Big Ben's when it comes to playoff football and winning championships. Big Ben's career playoff winning percentage is currently at 80%!!!! With 2 SuperBowl rings! Now what Fatal?

Notice I said SuperBowl "win(s)". One more win and he would have been in. That one win could had to be attributed to that Ravens defense... probably the best defense in NFL History. It wasn't like he drove his team down for the winning score like Big Ben did...
