You obviously haven't been around the game that long youngster... Soak up a little knowledge before you bring a sorry ass argument to the table, lol.
Ok old head since you been around the block so many times give some GOOD reason as to why BEN will make the Hall of Fame. Use info that the voters will agree with. Im talkin Ben as a quarterback not wins(cuz as you know wins are a team effort) Whats he accomplished?

Read my past posts on here and then come with an argument. I never said Ben was going to the Hall Of Fame automatically right now. If he had a career ending injury this preseason, then I agree he wouldn't go. Read my past posts before you start running your mouth!

What's beautiful though and makes me feel good is how thin skinned some of you sissified blades are regarding the Steelers, lol. No one else can say their squad had 6 Super Bowl titles! So keep the lame ass arguments coming...:classic::classic:

im not sure your opinion matters...big ben was the qb of two sb winning teams...his lack luster sb performance his first time doesnt take that ring away in voters eyes
I think if he's placed in the hall of fame becuase of 2 rings that would be a hunk of poo. But its whatever. All im sayin is Bens a above average quarterback but i dont feel hes HOF bound yet.

I can't believe this post is still going..

Ben is not there yet. He's 5 years into his career and has a lot more ahead of him. All I know is that he is on pace for a HOF career..

We'll bring this post back in another 5 years and weigh back in, but right now I don't seen the point to all this useless speculation..

Your the one thats gettin defensive about it. Im actually PUMPED they won! Im glad they got more rings than the Cowboys. I jus dont feel he's hall bound yet. Maybe he'll rack some yards and tds up and will be.

Wins are big but as far as im concerned the SB wins are not on Bens Shoulders.

EDIT- He's an above average QB. Not a HOF QB
Like I said youngster, your the one that obviously doesn't know the game! If that was Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, etc. with a lousy Offensive Line like Pittsburgh had all season they would have been sacked way more than Ben. Ben extends plays and makes it happen when only 3 to 4 of our O-Line wants to perform. If these other QB's had the same type of line, they would have been squashed! Ben will continue to get under your skin when you think he's sacked and then... Oh, he slips another tackle and makes a big play! The seachicken fans saw the best of it when they had Ben 3rd and 28 in the Super Bowl and what? Big Ben extends the play and finds Hines Ward for 30 yards!
LMAO! I love how Ben gets under your skin!

he isnt....yet...but the 2 rings will help....if he continues playing at this level (which ISNT great by itself, but with the rings, good attitude towards the press..being a role model..etc)

HOF isnt ALL about numbers....thats all im trying to say..big ben isnt even the best PASSER outta his draft...but the other intagibles he has help...period

The refs won the first one and the second one he won on that last drive.
BULLSHIT. Take away that defensive TD and the Steelers lose that game. PERIOD.

If he was on the 49ers and the 49ers won 2 SB's you Niners fans would be drooling all over his hall of fame status.
And if he were on the 49ers YOU would be saying he doesn't belong in the Hall Of Fame because he hasn't done enough INDIVIDUALLY to make it there. Unless he starts doing more, he doesn't belong in the hall. But he's still a young guy and probably has up to 10+ years left in his career so I think he will eventually wind up in the Hall. All I'm saying is the two SuperBowl rings shouldn't be a deciding factor because he did not do anything spectacular to earn them.

It's funny you should say this, and then follow up with this:

Manning and Brady go through progressions much quicker and better than Ben Roethlisburger. They'd find an open target quicker than Ben does, which means they probably wouldn't be sacked like you think they would. Vision and a quick release go a long way. If you knew as much about the game as you'd like us all to believe you would already know that and I wouldn't be telling you anything new. Then again if you knew as much as you'd like us to believe you never would have made that statement.

you can't make that statement, who knows what would have happened in the second half, the whole outcome could have been different either way.
In all reality, the Cardinals probably would have ran away with the game if you take away that defensive TD. The momentum shifted in THE STEELERS direction when that happened, and they STILL couldn't put it away until the very end. What makes you think the Steelers would have done better if the Cardinals had scored before the half instead of them? Come on man. There's no logic there.

i'm not saying what youre saying wouldn't have happened, i'm just saying take away the interception and the second half may have played out in a total different way, most likely in the cards favor but who knows. the logic is there.

I wouldn't bother debating with these losing faggots man. Let's enjoy the fact that our Steelers have 6 titles that were won legitimately! There's always going to be jealous haters from other teams that wished they had what we have! It's sure beautiful!!! :classic:

I'd rather keep my 5 SuperBowls than lose in the big game, thanks. I've stated that before, go look it up. I can't even FORCE myself to be jealous of the Steelers. If you guys had an undefeated record with 6 wins and no tarnished titles, THEN I would be jealous. But that's not reality.

I'm actually pretty happy the Steelers got to 6. I just didn't want the Cowboys to get there first. Pitts is not important enough to me as a Niner fan to hate on them. I'm just keeping it real. I'd rather be undefeated in the SuperBowl with NO TARNISHED titles. Thanks.

Fatal that defense damn near lost them the game. The Cards took the lead after that pick was returned. Big Ben played with fractured ribs and lead the game winning drive. That TD pass to Holmes will get him in the hall of fame.
