People settle, spirits get crushed... but shit is cyclical.As poor people, thugs, blacks whatever, if we don't rise up out, whatever the new oppression is we'll be under their boot too. You should always want better for your kids, and thats the saddest part, you not just hurtin yourself, or your brother man, you're hurting your kids in reality. I want better for my kida and grandkids, and people. That's what black gangsters seem to forget.

Every gangsta in this land before black gangstas got so popular exploited a portion of the community but they always invested and always got their kids somewhere better. The Kennedys went into politics but they pops was a gangster. The Italians, the jews, polish, now the Russians, and armenians, and everybody. I know they were white so they could do certain things but at least they keep this shit in mind. Blacks got a real limited view of shit and only see things 3, 4 generations down the line after you on a boat to some new continent, after them funny dressed dude in your mother country beating yo ass telling you what to do, after your community then turned into a fuckin dump, after you done went from we shall overcome to fuck it nigga, after you done rode hard on other blacks for other gangs to come in and strike up NK, till historic SC becomes only 10% black...

Maybe I saw the whole thing then...? I was laughin' out loud when that old dude said he never felt as free as he did when he was shoothin' it out with those fools... LA is an interestin' place, mayne... With an interestin' history... That clip of MLK and some young kid yellin' "We don't turn the other cheek in LA"... BLEW ME AWAY...! And like you said, they were all so young... Kids really...

nah, I mean it was a small budget doc. the interestin thing though is they talked about the gang scene before the panthers, so you learn a lil bit about the black gangs that predated the b's and c's. ANd they do go into why blacks in LA are a lil bit more aggressive and didn't take the southern peaceful civil rights route.
