Thanks G. Yeah, the panther and US beef wasn't manafactured either, it was heightened to a violence and death level. All these folks have ideological differences, and outside forces always come in and play on that, that's like the main reason we got shifted as a people and sell-outs.

just watched that shit cuz

the funny thing bout when i used to gangbang the gs taught california revolution independent pistol slangers and i didnt know it was originally community revolution in process until i was older

also i had blood homies from the gate before bangin and while i was bangen

from compton homies from fruit town and luders park it was tha nigga i didnt know that i had a problem with coming to the beach from other schools

during football games and basketball games in long beach that me and my homies had a problem with talking shit trying to bang in our neighborhood disrespecting like long beach aint crip city

so im with that unity with that whole red and blue thing

it wasent til i got older that i notice blacc men and women can stand right next to each other and disown our kind like nigga i dont know you

we wont even say hi, or strike up a conversation

and when we do attempt to do so its like nigga i aint friendly dont try and talk to me

and this hurt me for along time even communicating with peers teachers preachers employers judges law enforcement or just about anybody

at one point of my life make me a sociopath

glad that aint me today

thank you god

I feel you... & this is just my PERSONAL opinion... The 60's, the Civil Rights movement, the sit-ins, MLK, even the Panthers to an extent... Those were equality movements... We're NOT gonna sit in the back of the bus, we're NOT gonna drink outta seperate water fountains, the police AINT gonna go upside our heads, we are NOT gonna be treated like 2nd class citizens, etc... Well, we won... That generation got everything they were after... So much so, we have a sittin' Black president... Jesse Jackson (who saw MLK murdered) CRIED when Obama won... He was able to see the fruits of his generations labor bloom... Anyhow, on to my point... I think the one thing the Civil Rights generation didn't address was ECONOMIC development... So much of that era was about "knowledge of self", cultural development, & self pride... But the economic factor was damn near an after thought... So now we have a generation that has no idea what's it like to ride in the back of the bus, or pass by a whites only store... But they DO know what it's like to be broke as f*ck even with a Black guy in the White House... So I can understand where your cousin is comin' from... "Man, I can't pay my rent with 'knowledge of self"...! It's misguided but there is a bit of truth in it...

I know this is a long ramblin' post... Hopefully it makes enough sense for you to follow...
It makes sense, and in a capitalist society capital trumps all...But the predicament blacks are in is we have put ourselves in a position that plays out like this:1. the more powerful segments of society can say "Hey you guys are free, there's nothing holding you back" ( like lynhcings, segregation, overt racial BS); 2. We're making more money than we ever have, at least our entertainers are; 3.There's limited amounts of social capital in our communities -meaning we don't lknow how to invest, keep money in, and build in our communities. You got Bougie niggas who on some capitalist republican I worked hard for my money, fuck the poor fuckup niggas, and you got hood dudes who made it and don't understand how to keep their money, our the concept of really supporting and investing in your community. You make money off of the black community your talent conveys an aspect of the black community but it's "fuck them niggas, they haters, I worked for mines, niggas didn't give me shit." What happens when the community is totally obliterated and fucked up not bale to produce anything worthwhile? Since we are a community who overwhelmingly makes money of the culture we export, you have to keep up the community, give back and stay in touch, because without the black struggle, experience, and community there is no black art, just black people who make art.

On the money making aspect, I think the Muslims have that down. Yeah, white people shut are black wall sts. And such down, But in this new global digital age, rich established blacks could create all kind of work and infrastructure with blacks in the Carribean, Latin America, Canada, Europe, and most of all Africa. These blacks look up to us, and the majority of them somewhat run their countries ( at least a black face is in "power"). Niggas better realize we're a nation in a nation, like the jews and natives understand. If we don't help ourselves we'll never get no where.

I need to see that vid. I never thought the nation killed Malcolm, there were too many agents. (Same thing with US and the Panthers). I think they said Malcolm's closest bodyguard was undercover FBI, and directly after he got shot the dude started doing CPR on him, .
yes his name was gene roberts (google him) interestingly enough with the credibility he had from working for malcom the new york panthers welcomed him, it was not yet revealed he was a cop yet. he ended up being the one who got the new york panthers and tupacs mother indicted. they beat the case when the conspiracy they got arrested on was revealed to have been planted by him and he was a cop.

I can't argue with that D... Not at all... You hit all the points I was gonna make... So I understand why the next generation is ALL about their paper... I've even come across a few theories/articles/books that suggest "bangin" (at least our Cali model) was REALLY about economics and business... Particularly Black gangs... Hispanic & Asian gangs organized for quite different reasons... But Southern California Black gangs, almost from jump... Were about PAPER...!

Lots of great points in this thread..

I never understood the concept of "fuck them niggaz"....I never understood the concept of me choosin sides and fighting for something thats way beyond me......

Why look at this nigga like he my enemy when really we all in this same shit together.

A lot of people on the outside lookin in see is niggaz wit different colors on...no meaning behind it...just a bunch of %^$&&%$&&..wtf type shit....

They dont kno the stories/roots of the current situation...

And I'll be willing to bet that at least half of the niggaz who have died in the course of all this(R.I.P,) didnt kno either.....so what was it for?

Sad part about it is theres a lot of niggaz thats out there sayin fuck the other side because of this and that...and THAT stemming off what?.....you from over here and im from over here so fuck you.....(cause that's all it really is sometimes)

Theres very little education. There arent too many lookin at the bigger picture....and then for those that do see it, some dont seem to care and just keep feedin in to the negativity....just what they want you to do.....a movie like Colors can make it to the cinema but Wrath of Cain and the other one just like it get silenced still in this day and age....

The seed was planted early on.

Niggaz need to start fukkin wit the bigger picture and stop havin that fuck it/fuck you/it's all about me mentality.....it hasnt worked yet.

true i rem ember in the early 80's when ice t made cop killa bloodz and crip was still bangen on police but funny how we still kill more of our own instead

i know homies who smoked ridah from another set to only later find out they were blood relatives

nat turner would not be proud of what we have be come

i really think the niggaz of american really want to erase the brotherhood and unity of the african nation that we all come from

and this more likely started in africa
