I see Cotto beating Gomez...
its one of those fights where when you look at everything you know about both fighters, you know Cotto will win, but everyone likes an underdog.

Cotto KO 9

I've been impressed with Cintron's last fights...Margarito took that loss to Williams and looked horrible doing it...so Ill go Cintron.

Cintron UD

Sixx you've been fanboying Hopkins so hard these last months I CAN'T WAIT to see him lose to Calzaghe!

fanboying???!??! hahahaha, hopkins is a living legend! 43 years old and still one of the best, Hopkins aint Peter Manfredo or Jeff "LOL" Lacy! More i think about this, the more I think hopkins TKO's Calzaghe, or at least dominates joe. that's what happens to the british when they come over here and challenge the top US fighters (besides Lennox).

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Kermit Cintron added a little spice to an otherwise hum-drum weigh-in on Friday at Caesars Palace when he made a throat slash gesture toward Antonio Margarito.

Cintron, the IBF champion, and Margarito, the only man to have beaten him as a pro, both weighed at 146 ½. Margarito appeared in the best physical condition he's been in in years.

As Cintron and Margarito posed for photographers, Cintron made a point to step closer to Margarito, who stopped him in the fifth round of a WBO title bout in Las Vegas in 2005. As the fighters were broken up, Cintron said something to Margarito and then made the throat slash gesture.

Margarito was laughing and Cintron kissed both of his fists and wagged his right threateningly at Margarito. Margarito turned to the crowd and pretended to be crying, a jab at Cintron, who cried in the ring after losing his crown to Margarito.

"For him doing that, I'm going to make him cry a second time," Margarito said. "It's not like he scared me or anything. He's the one who ought to be scared."

Gomez is going to beat Cotto...

As for Cintron/Margarito I haven't seen Cintron fight so I can't call that one.

Y'all have a good weekend and enjoy the fights.

Cintron impressed you against Jesse Feliciano? Cintron hasn't fought anyone since Margarito that isn't going to be scared of his power and Cintron doesn't seem to respond well when someone applies pressure back.

You should see 2-0s obsession with Tye Fields. Extreme fanboyness.

I still feel he's the underdog, but what has impressed me is what I feel his growth as a fighter. That loss to Margarito was a good lesson.
