Why don't you place some plame on the man for taking drugs? Why don't you place some blame on him for assaulting the police officers? Cincinnati police shot 22 people, 13 fatally, all black men. Two others died after being sprayed with chemical irritants during struggles with Cincinnati police. <-------This was 95-2000. Two more died shortly after that study was released. Lets not forget about Timothy Thomas who was unarmed when he got murdered last year, and now, another unarmed black man. :dead:

out of all the blacks killed by cops in the time frame youre referring to there is only ONE OR TWO INSTANCES WHERE THERE IS A QUESTION OF THE OFFICERS SAFETY. THE REST OF THE INSTANCES THE THE SUSPECTS WERE ARMED WITH GUNS OR VEHICLES ATTEMPTING TO HARM THE OFFICERS. im no fan of cops but i live close by and im not gonna let you twist the few facts you choose to put out there.

This is my take on it. Agree, disagree...doesn't matter.

The man resisted arrest, took a swing at the cops, and they reacted. It is obvious though that they over-reacted.

I understand the need for a cop to defend himself, but to beat a man repeatedly in the head is uncalled for. Sure, beating a man in the head will help subdue him, but taking out the knee caps would work just as well. The man would still be alive, and he would recover.

That being said, I really don't think him being black had anything to do with it. Do I know for sure? No. But nobody does.

I think they over-reacted to a 400 pound man that took a swing at them and wouldn't go down easily.
