most of the time the driver don't see that $. but I guess your one of those get another job type fellows?

I was bringin home an average 30-50 bucks a night in tips on 10 deliverys back in 2003-04. fill my tank and cop my sac. it was cool getting paid 8 bucks plus tips and free pizza. and we'd get faded at work. man that job was cool as shit.

oh and we knew who didn't tip.
we figured they didn't tip cuz they like cold pizza with boogers and hair.
I guess like that's yall secret code.
you were already gettin paid over minimum wage to drive a pizza to someones house...the only reason u tip waiters/waitresses is because tips are factored into their paycheck and they do a lot of walking around

how are u gonna have an easy ass job then get butthurt by people not giving u EXTRA money for doing ur job?

its proper ettiquete . I was raised to tip waiters/drivers/food deliverymen/ valet parking. they are providing a service. for something u can do your damn self. driving their own car risking getting jacked, getting u your stuff how u ordered it/in a timely fasion/ and with good customer service(by the way customer service is extremly lacking in 2009).

u trust the person doing these things then I figure u drop a dollar or 2 or 3 and lettem know u appreciate the service.

like I said I was raised that way. and as I got older I understood how the world works. u got tippers and none tippers.

I do what I do because I feel like its the right thing.
no one else has too. I don't care. but I understand those jobs aint easy ecspecially with asshole customers.

I was jokin when i said go back to school, tippin is the right thing to do

but delivering pizzas is not a easy ass job, it's stupid really, any job that makes you drive your own vechicle the whole time you're workin is retarded. it's not even worth it when you factor your car into the equation.

but i could give a fuck anyways, i'm not lettin anyone i don't know make anything for me. when i want a pizza, i make it myself.

im someone who always tips...but i think its an asshole thing to fuck with someones food just because they arent givin u extra money

u sign on to risk yourself and your car, thats not the customers fault...people that work warehouse jobs dont get tipped because they risk their backs to move around the product people buy

its not really that big of a deal tho...theres worst shit actually purposely put in most fast food that we eat anyway lol

I was a driver too basically this is how its factored, at pizza hut, it was a 2$ delivery fee, 1$ for driver, 1$ for the store.

So lets say to go out on 10 diff trips is 10$ in my pocket for gas/insurance/maintenance is bullshit and in no way enough, the small amount of hourly salary that u make is basiclaly for your bills, and shouldnt be used for gas and all that shit, tips is what makes it worth it, if i hadnt recieved tips i wouldnt have done the job

I normally do too but am not feelin to hot right now and didnt feel like driving down to rural and university. Its Gus' Pizza. BOMB pizza. NY style. Love it.

I tipped the guy 3 bucks. Not really happy about paying 8 bucks to get it delivered but whatever.

Oh and I said the pizza cost five bucks. But I also got soda so that brought my total up like like 7.50.

and to be quite honest I never fucked with anyones pizza nor did my co workers. I just said that to scare u non tipping assholes.

not to say others don't tamper with your food or nuthin.

but im a due un to others type person. so I didn't fuck with food. I just would deliver the pizza at my own pace. givem like 2 packets of cheese and peppers. and bounce. oh id be polite but I aint going out the way to conversate or be all friendly and shit. I'd give customers 1 or 2 chance to tip before I put them in a higher priority delivery tier. u tip I try and get there 10-15 minutes. u don't tip then the 45 minute wait time we quote is in full effect.

u order something @ 8:25 on a friday night and live a mile away or less. the a tipper orders @ 8:40 right when the non tippers pizza comes out ill wait till my tippers pizza is out the oven then leave drop their pizza off first by 8:50-8:55 then deliver the non tipper around 9:00.

but im pretty sure yall could understand that. from a business aspect. I gotta get my hustle on and give the right customers the best product.

if u an old lady or old man or disabled u get a pass .
