did you read what you just wrote............you just said that Nate S. is a superstar waiting to happen.........................talk about an exaggeration..........Nate S. will be a good MLB outfielder somewhere along the lines of Melky Cabrerra............

ive been saying for at least 1 year that Nate S. was the top position player in the minors for the Giants, but you guys go overboard............

Winn is your best overall hitter.........if you package him WITH Sanchez you might get back a decent infielder...........which is what you need because your corner infielders are worthless.........Sandoval can go to 1st base as he is a below average 3rd basemen with a horrible body that will only get worse and he will be better suited at 1st base (ideal situation is as a DH in the AL like David Ortiz)......................
It's not like you've watched Nate from his time in the Minors and the Olympics, He was tearing it up with both the Minors and the Olympics....If Anyone of our "Prospects" which I doubt he is now because of his ABs, or up and Comers, Nate is arguably going to be the First 5 tool Player the Giants have brought Up....Guy can Mash, Dude can Run, He can Field, he Can Throw, and he can steal bases.....I'm Telling you, If he started out this Year, I think his stat line would be .290-.310 7-11 HR anywhere from 40-50 RBI. You give him the AB where Lewis Failed, I'm pretty sure nate would of have been glad to take some of those RBI opportunities....You'll see One Day...

I'LL BE BOLD here, What Matt Kemp is to the Dodgers, Nate Schierholtz will be to the Giants, YES GO AHEAD AND LAUGH.

sandoval is only 22^^

has alot of time to lose weight. He has Brian Wilson on his team which can help him lose weight and get even stronger, like he did with Zito in the offseason.

Do people forget Nate Schierholtz was an Olympian OF?
ya, i been propping him up since way before any Giants fan on here did (exception is Rekz, who is really up on him minor league farm system).

come on discuss you don't really believe that, do you? every1 and their mom knows that you dont bet into better shape as you get older.........there are athletic bodies and their are UNathletic bodies and Sandoval has a very bad body.......thats not to say that he cant play....look at molina? but poeple liek that are the exception, not the norm.............

i have been following baseball for a while now.....not just watching dodger games, but all of baseball........and yes i knew of Nate S. since before most Giants fans did.......

Nate is arguably going to be the First 5 tool Player the Giants have brought Up....Guy can Mash, Dude can Run, He can Field, he Can Throw, and he can steal bases.....
do you know what it means to be a 5-tool player........and how few of those there are in baseball???? they are rare.......and Nate S. is on the low end of 5 tool.......some high end examples are Matt Kemp, Milton Bradley, Matt Holliday, Alex Rodriguez, Justin Upton...........they are rare............

Nate S---IMO

Hitting for average-----55
Hitting for power-------50
defense---------------65
arm-------------------60
speed-----------------60

a 5 tool player is some1 who rates 50 or higher in ALL catagories on the 20-80 scouting scale...........the higher the rating the better the player........50across the board will qualify as a 5 tool guy........but numbers between 65-80 across the board are rare..............

Matt Kemp--IMO

Hitting for average-----65
Hitting for power-------60 (projects to be 65-70 in the future)
defense---------------75
arm-------------------75
speed-----------------70

I'LL BE BOLD here, What Matt Kemp is to the Dodgers, Nate Schierholtz will be to the Giants, YES GO AHEAD AND LAUGH.
Nate S. will be IMO somewhat like Randy Winn with MORE power (15-20 HR/year) but LESS speed (10-15 SB/year)................oh ya LOL on the Kemp comparison

with age your metabolism does drop a bit.. but anyone who wants to can get into shape.. If pablo sandoval started lifting weights, eating a little healthier and drinking alot of water that would go along way for his health and career in baseball. Its all up to how commited you are to your health.

Are you basically writing Sandoval off as a Prince Fielder type? overweight fat 1B with pop?

do you know what it means to be a 5-tool player........and how few of those there are in baseball???? they are rare.......and Nate S. isn't one of them.......some examples are Matt Kemp, Milton Bradley, Matt Holliday, Alex Rodriguez, Justin Upton, Dexter Fowler...........they are rare............

i would say from what i have seen of Nate S

Hitting for average-----65
Hitting for power-------55
defense---------------70
arm-------------------60
speed-----------------60

That inside the Park Homerun he Hit, For an average MLB player with average Speed that would have been a Double...For someone like Fred Lewis a Triple...NATE easily made it an Inside the Parker, His Arm is a Canon, so I'd give him a 70 On the Scale of 20-80. He has a strong top Hand, did you see the Homerun he hit yesterday, and my analysis on that isn't based on that Solo HR...Nate, yes is easily a 15-20 Homerun Guy, but I wouldn't count out the fact that he could also potentially be a 30 HR Guy.

I believe, Had Nate been Given the Job to start all year By the end of the season he'd go

.300 19 HR 80 RBI 90 Runs(SHOULD HE BE HITTING IN FRONT OF PABLO) 20 SB, 40 2b, 10 3b .350 OBP, Doesn't walk Much, .490 Slug. Pct. So Not Bad a 300 Hitter, with 20-25 Homerun Potential, and Run producing Right fielder with a Canon of an Arm.

Put him in Coors watch him put Matt Holliday Like Numbers

^^^ pablo may look like a fat prince fielder type, but looks can be deceiving.

find the video of pablo's bunt single and you'll understand better. that boy has wheels, especially for a fatto.

also you're incorrect about winn being our best hitter. for 1, rowand is better. for 2, pablo is batting .340 and hits the ball all over the field. and i like randy winn, but even nate is hotter with the bat currently.

ur also wrong about his ceiling. he nearly had 4 home runs when he had 2 that game in milwaukee. he hasnt shown his power yet because he hits the ball anywhere at anytime. he's not ryan howard swinging for the fences every time.

i stand by my statement.............just about any MLB player can hit 4 HR in a series..............the problem is doing it on a consistant basis...........and to be consistant for Sandoval IMO is at best 25-30.....but more like 25 especially playing at AT&T
