sadowski seems more like a bullpen guy than a starter. his stuff is weak.

he did only allow 4 hits and no runs, but sanchez had more strikeouts in 1 inning than sadowski in 6

finally a nice win, sadowski wasnt that good but he wasnt that bad either, he got a lot of ground balls and thats what helped him the most. id rather have him be a starter than sanchez for now. bochy played it smart in not having lincecum start today, that way zito doesnt get to pitch in the next series v. the cardinals.

The giants are probably trying to showcase Sanchez so they can hopefully trade em as a reliever otherwise they need to send that dude down to the minor so he can get his shit straight.

good win for the giants today, Schierholtz is lookin good....

Yeah, Sadowskis pitches didnt look that great, but he got the job done, and thats what matters. He isnt a strikeout guy.
prob with those type of guys is that they usually dont last to be good

yes job was done today but we still need an answer for the rest of the year and beyond

Sanchez to the bullpen was a smart move, i dont know if its long-term but its a good time to figure out, Sadowski doesnt need to be a K machine to be effective, if he gets as many outs on the ground as he did in his start he will get the job done. He reminds of me when Kirk Saarloos was on the A's.

What are peoples thoughts on moving Winn in and out of the line-up a bit more? Schierholtz is getting a bit better with that bat, and, personally, I really like Torres. He's a strong guy for his size, and in addition, he is quick as hell, just the kind of player who can cover a lot of ground and take doubles and triples up the allies... Winn is a classy guy and will always be a fixture for the team, but we need to get the bats going, and if that means platooning Schierholtz and Torres in RF, I'm all for it.

Outfield needs to be Bowker, Rowand, Schierholtz...with Torres as 4th OF. We need to trade Winn and Lewis (most likely needs to be packaged with a pitcher)....

^^^ we tried. he sucks. his fielding is atrocious. he isnt very fast for a guy that should be fast. his arm is wack. and now he cant hit this year.

nate is faster and might have the best arm on our team.

even his speed last year he isnt as fast as nate or torres. and hes terrible with the glove and arm. we tried to give him a chance, it was different last year when he was hot with the bat. if he cant even hit, he's really useless.

My Ideal Line-up
As of Now and later will post my ideal line-up with Trades I'd want to go through
CF Rowand
LF Winn, C'mon we Need Someone who can bunt!
RF Nate Should have been given the chance once K-FRED started to decline, I'm pretty Sure nate would have posted somewhere along the lines of .310 9 HR and 40 RBI, Nate is No Joke, Nate Reminds me of a Left Handed Matt Holliday with More Speed and a Stronger Arm
3B Pablo, Molina should NOT BAT CLEAN UP
1B Ishikawa WWWAAAATAAAA
C Molina
SS Renteria
2B Downs

Let's say Rowand hits a Double, Winn is a Good Bunter, Nate brings Home Rowand with a Sac. Fly Giants score 1 in the 1st. Another Scenario Rowand Get on Base, Winn Bunts, Nate Doubles, Pablo singles in Rowand and Nate...Man I SHOULD be manager LOL

did you read what you just wrote............you just said that Nate S. is a superstar waiting to happen.........................talk about an exaggeration..........Nate S. will be a good MLB outfielder somewhere along the lines of Melky Cabrerra............

ive been saying for at least 1 year that Nate S. was the top position player in the minors for the Giants, but you guys go overboard............

Winn is your best overall hitter.........if you package him WITH Sanchez you might get back a decent infielder...........which is what you need because your corner infielders are worthless.........Sandoval can go to 1st base as he is a below average 3rd basemen with a horrible body that will only get worse and he will be better suited at 1st base (ideal situation is as a DH in the AL like David Ortiz)......................

sandoval is only 22^^

has alot of time to lose weight. He has Brian Wilson on his team which can help him lose weight and get even stronger, like he did with Zito in the offseason.

Do people forget Nate Schierholtz was an Olympian OF?
