My boy was in the first gulf war & told me about a time when they were on night patrol receiving fire from atop of a large exterior wall of a small village.. He said it would be in spurts, 2 shots then a few mins of silence, a few more shots, none hitting them but they were hitting close....

said they saw 2 heads pop up & waited for the right opportunity & clearance & he fired off a few rounds & connected to his target...

they circled around, & went to see who was shooting at them & it was 2 little kids, maybe 11 & 12 years old, both dead.

dude said the families were watching them the whole time & he said he still has nightmares about that shit & went on to tell me how hard it was for him to take a human life to begin with but he had to do what he had to do, then to find out it was jsut a couple of little boys made it 10 times worse for him
