Yeah, I was trying to teach a couple people a little about the Chicago drill rap scene a couple months back and showed them that video and the back story behind it.

Everybody I've ever showed drill rap too are always like "the fuck???" they're dumbfounded about how this shit is not only going on in the open, but in front of millions of youtube viewers.

I dig the songs but it trips me out how the fuck 17 year olds who are well known to be connected to murders are able to be on videos holding automatic weapons and smoking blunts and somehow also getting signed to major labels.

One article I read awhile back asked some kid out there why they are openly in videos and on Instagram, Twitter, etc with all kinds of straps and he straight up said something along the lines of "I'd rather the opps know I got one on me and be arrested by the cops with it then be caught lackin' when the opps think I don't."

I didn't know stealing a box of cigars and roughing up someone a little was on par for receiving the death penalty.

The fucked up part about it is the chief of police has already gone on record stating the officer had no idea the shoplifting incident even happened. He approached him for walking in the street.

Kid got the death penalty for jay walking.

Except the officer wasn't responding to "strong arm robbery" and the kid was shot with his hands in the air. Your key words were "they said" lol of course "they said" he tried to take his gun, yet they can't explain how he tried to take his gun with his hands pointed in the air getting shot 9 times.
