yea im doing all kinds of shit that isn't supposed to be my work but just gets pawned off on me...im salary but I get OT after 8 hours...but the bullshit part is im doing a lot of work that my boss is being paid commission for...VP iscoming Friday but I don't really know how to approach him...im just a shit stain to him

I fucking hate my job but I'm overpaid and I just got my third week of vacation this year. .We put in our 10 day strike notice Monday cuz we can't settle the union contract. It's getting ugly. I think we're being stupid but these dumbasses have never had another job. I mean we get $22/hr to put napkins and doilies in boxes and get 6 paid sick days. I take all hour breaks and no one says anything. These people are idiots I think.
I can't complain. I work 14 days/ month, get 7 floating holidays, 1 week of PA and 1 week Vac every anniversary, and accrue 11.5 hrs each of PA & Vac every month. Every 7 years get an 8 week paid sabbatical. Annually receive free shares (not options) with a raise. Get to participate in an SPP that provides up to 5% of salary in shares at a minimum of 15% discount, that can be sold anytime at or after distribution date. Given an average of 6% in 401k whether participating or not. Receive quarterly and semi annual bonuses. Receive monetary recognition on a weekly basis for simple tasks. 100% tuition reimbursement. Free catered lunches 2-3 times a quarter and free tix to sports events and other entertainment venues. Paid hourly and make 2-3 times the industry average.
I was born and raised into making that fast money and I probably will never be able to give that up, but treal talk, for a legit job its coo and I work with great people from all over the globe.

one of my shitty fucking jobs will turn into a decent career soon. ill make 80-100k but ill be busting my ass. will retire at 52..awesome pension..benefits for life..i get 4 weeks paid vacation so far and ive only been there 2 1/2 years...but until then...bring on the 17 hour workdays and big bubba sized coffee cups
Fuck, I don't have to go to work! I actually liked the job but my bitchy and sneaky boss decided to throw me out. Fuck it, I don't even want to work with someone that smiles in your face but behind your back it's a whole other story.
