& I owe you a reply about the mac clean ups...

I always suggest cleaning the desktop, because of the ram dependency.

upgrading to the max ram is always good as well

but if your getting a lot of beach ball action, go into the disk utility, verify & repair the disk permissions, run a disk verification & disk repair as well. it might not show errors on the disk, but after rebooting, it can help.

clear the pram on your system:

Shut down your Mac.

Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys & turn the system back on

Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.

Release the keys.
Thanks, homes. Not having any big issues at the moment, but I like to stay proactive with that shit.

mac = don't do shit, and still have a fast ass computer.

pc = don't do shit, and your computer runs like shit.
I never understood all these "problems" PCs apparently have

I use the same PC's for years and never had issues. I only recently retired the one I built in 2006 just because I wanted newer shit. My laptop I bought in 2008 still runs great.

I think there's just way more PCs out there, thus more possibilities for morons to purchase them, thus making PCs look bad and generally Mac users are people who are gear nerds anyway so they'll know how to not fuck one up.

Honestly i'd rather take 5x the computer for 1/2 of the price when it comes to PCs vs. Macs.

I never had issues with my PC either to be honest, I had a couple that competed with my current mac speed wise.

but none of them come close in the connivence of running osx.

I used PC from like 1998 - 2010, and would never go back.
