Rump-I already bet on Mosley beating Manny and can't do another risky bet.. LOL.
Cotto should have a easy time with Mayorga, but will Cotto be able to stick to the gameplan the whole fight. Mayorga is going to make Cotto fight and forget about boxing.

Naner12 please tell me who has Cottley beaten in his career that's better then Vernon Forrest? Dude's biggest win is against Judah and he always freezes up on the big stage like a deer in headlights. Remember Cottley vs Maragrito, or him against Pac-Man. I stand behind Mayorga being better then non-punching ass Cottley. With that being said maybe the time off helped Cotto recover from the three brutal beatings he got from Manny, Maragrito, and bitch-ass Cottley. But for some reason I think Mayorga is going to cut Cotto eye again and then KO him.
Put them in the ring together and I'll bet whatever you'd like on it, and I don't even bet on fights. Is Prescott better than Amir Khan even thought he KO'd him? Would you rank Saddler over Pep even though Saddler beat him plently? I'll go off what I see rather than records when talking about 2 established top fighters.

.. not to mention that win was years ago and he's done nothing but get his ass spanked, talk major shit, and outbox a fat Fernando Vargas. I'll Clottey over Mayorga at any point in their careers.

I think Mayorga beats Clottey if they fight. Once Clottey gets hit with any kind of power he goes into a shell and throws no punches. He did it against Manny and he did it against Maragrito. After watching Clottey in the Manny fight, I think dude should never fight again he's a bum.

Wow Cotto still has a lot of scar tissue around his eye, I see Mayorga cutting him again.

I wouldn't even really consider Clottey an active fighter.
First the guy was ducked, then he was boycotted, then he finally got a chance and pulled out due to an injury. It will be a while until he catches any type of lime light again.

Cotto refused a face off today again, mayorga's pissed haha. The weigh in on friday will probably be good. I heard the press conference was pretty epic today. I'll post a video when it's available.

Steward, Mayorga Erupt: Trade Words at Vegas Presser

By Rick Reeno

A war of words erupted between junior middleweight Ricardo Mayorga, and Emanuel Steward, who trains WBA champion Miguel Cotto. As Steward began to address the media from the podium, Mayorga tried to cut him off, and the two of them began to trade words for at least ten minutes. Cotto-Mayorga happens on Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Showtime pay-per-view carrying the event.

"I don't care how hard you train. You are getting knocked out and it won't take long either. You could take your shirt off. You could get butt-naked on here. You are out of your class. You going to hospital afterwards. The only flag that [Don King] is going to waive afterwards is a white flag. You are getting knocked out from a left hook to the body," Steward said.

I'd order the card if Martinez/Dizzy wasn't on the same night. Not cause of Cotto/Mayorga which is a nothing fight but cause I wanna see Vazquez/Zappa & Foreman's comeback fight.

something about that Martinez/Dizzy fight just screams snooze fest to me, man. So I might order this cotto card. I just think it's a better card:

Cotto/Mayorga
Vazquez/Zappavigna
Foreman/Wolak
Tommy Zbikowski

compared to

Martinez/Dzinziruk
Andy Lee/Craig McEwan

Martinez announced he won't have his trainer in his corner (personal issues, etc.).
So neither fighter will have their original trainers in their corners on Saturday night.

Cotto looks like he just wants to get this fight over with.

Cotto looks like he wants to hurt Mayorga. But has Cotto recovered from those three brutal fights we will see on Saturday, because Mayorga is going to hit Cotto in this fight.
