so i missed the fight forgot to record it and just now got around to watching the replay and i was not ready for that holy fuck. First round too. I guess it did help Mares was Gonzalez sparring partner at one point. Mares was pretty calm and humble in that post fight interview gotta respect that regardless of what that punk Donaire says

Unfortunately, Mares' stock dropped dramatically after this loss and now all top featherweights are with Top Rank. Like I said before, GBP fighters are not all that and come next year they will struggle with their match making. He should have never spoken on Nonito's loss either cuz he should have been humble before this loss

Thats wat happens when u fight everyone on the list one by one no ducking,no vacations,no retirements,no cherry picking.....styles makes fight..i think mares is a better fighter than gonzalez..rematch

I dunno. A rematch at this point isn't worth it. That first knock down wasn't really a lucky punch type of situation. I don't see how (with Mares' style) he can avoid flush shots for 12 rounds or less. That KO is a style changer for Mares. Let's hope he doesn't end up gettin hella tatts, if he does its a wrap.

You are right something that Mayweather has been doing for 17 years fighting the top of his division but he just dont get knocked the fuck out, all he does is win. I wise more fighters was like Mayweather. Lol..
