god damn eagles wtf

Eagles agreed to terms with TE Donald Lee on a one-year contract.
Lee managed just 11 catches in Green Bay last season, failing to seize the job when Jermichael Finley went down. His after-the-catch ability has vanished at age 31, as evidenced by three straight seasons under 8.0 yards per reception. He won't be guaranteed a roster spot in Philly.

Brandon Marshall has been diagnosed with "borderline personality disorder."
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the disorder is "marked by difficulties with relationships and self-image and controlling moods and emotions." Marshall went through three months of treatment and therapy for the disorder this offseason. Hopefully this marks the beginning of the end of the constant drama that has surrounded Marshall off-the-field since he came into the league in 2006.

Damn, Jets are going to be a real contender...

Plaxico Burress(notes) says there was “no sales pitch needed” in choosing to sign with the New York Jets, saying he was just “going with my heart” without even needing to visit his new team.

The former Super Bowl star with the Giants signed a one-year deal with the Jets on Sunday after recently being released from prison after serving 20 months on a gun charge. Burress, who turns 34 on Aug. 12, caught the winning touchdown in the Giants’ upset of the unbeaten New England Patriots in the 2008 Super Bowl, before his career derailed after he accidentally shot himself in a New York nightclub later that year.

He says his time in prison made him miss the game of football and being with teammates and is “elated” to get a second chance.

^^^of coarse it's a perfect fit for him. theres no control over there for the players. they can do what they want and there's no control. not saying it's a bad thing cause it works for them but it's perfect for a player who doesnt want to answer to anybody if he fucks up. jets were a contender before getting him so now it makes it that much more exciting. cant wait to go to the Jets/Pats games this year, finally going to the new jets stadium, heard it was sick.
