What people dont realize, is that in the actual magazine they break everything down into different categories. Each category has 3 artist in that certain category... For example...

Category: "Taking It Nationwide"

1. Clyde Carson
2. Bishop Lamont
3. Mistah F.A.B.

Category: "Something Different"

1. The Jacka
2. Problem
3. Crooked I

Category: "Keeping Gangsta Rap Alive"

1. Jay Rock
2. Messy Marv
3. Glasses Malone

Category: "Should Have Already Blown (Up)"

1. Keak Da Sneak
2. Suga Free
3. Turf Talk

Category: "Creating The Sounds"

1. Droop-E
2. Terrace Martin
3. Bedrock

That's how the break down goes with each article as they have it inside the actual issue of "XXL" with the artist pics to go with it. So the list isn't naming the top 15 from 1 to 15 in order, it's basically 3 artist in certain categories of the write-up... Just clearing that up for those who were unclear of the actual article, or for those who haven't had the chance to go and pick it up yet.

It's interesting to see who people wanted on the list. So everybody that says Ya Boy, Quinn, Ap 9, rob lo, etc etc shoulda been on there. Let me know why. My whole point of including the people we included was based off of past and current accomplishments, buzz, fanbase, talent, and potential.

also, i dont see how anybody from the bay or la could hate on suga free. He been in the game for sec, just like mess, keak, quinn etc etc but he only got 3 real albums and he still at it and if you know like i know then you know that if he ever got a 2nd shot at success with the shit he spittin he could win.

i think Quinn woulda been more appropriate for shoulda already blown than turf talk. I mean Quinn has put out way more music than turf talk and has had a much longer career. Quinn is also much more of a lyricist than turf talk and has had bigger hits than turf.

Yeah i could see where people would say that but shoulda blown wasnt a diss like this nigga should've blown up but its a wrap for him it was more like why hasnt he blown and how is he gonna get to the next level.

Turf has a buzz in and out of the bay (ny times article), he's sold more records than damn near every bay artist thats indie, and he has very stable backing.

Droop-E working E-40, Lil Jon & Nelly! Shit is crazy, dude is going to also have to blow. Other than him, I am definately feeling Bedrock's beats. I like the stuff he has done with B-Legit. The West has a ton of cats who should be selling on a major level, but the industry is 99% bullshit.
