I wrote the shit. So for all supporters and haters let me make something clear. So first off its not a 1-15 list in the traditional sense. the numbers are there to correspond with the artist photo since a lot of people dont know what they look like and who they are. 2nd the categories are what needs to be focused on its not just a these are the 15 rappers that are bringin the west back. Last, whether you agree with it or not just ride with a nigga and buy the magazine. Anybody worthy who was left out has got plug in the mag because of me in the past or they will in the future. So chill out and support an Oakland nigga trying to open doors for artist I think need exposure. If the numbers look good it will only influence XXL and other mags that the West matters and you will start seeing more and more artists from your soil on a major platform. Money talks.

He didn't post it (Townbusinessinc), I did (CooKoo)... He wrote the article and i personally thought it was a damn good look for the Bay and SoCal! I thought and figuered everyone would think it was a good read and a heads up on some artists in The Bay who are on the radar, put together with some SoCal artists who have a buzz or might start a buzz this year! Artist that were not in this issue might be gearing up for future articles like this. Doesn't mean they are not relevant...

I know, we fucked up on that one. Then again I was raised in Oakland and i've never been to pittsburg, antioch or any of them spots in my life. Thats no excuse but we'll run a correction in the next issue. And i'd be pissed if somebody spelled my name or my city wrong so i do understand.

Props for listing Clyde as number one, the Jacka at number 4, Mess at 8, Keak at 10, and Turf at 12

Theres some serious firestarters in that list man. Fuck the complaints. This article is definitely a good look. The Jacka with Tear Gas, Clyde, and Mess are the leaders right now in my opinion.
