great article! everybody who was featured in there, were exactly the people who were supposed to be featured, if someone was left out ... just goes to show where they are on the charts, or lack there of.

Clyde fell off, same with keak and fab, these niggas got deals and got lazy. They need to hit up DJ Fresh or Demolition Men and put out some dope mixtapes and quick. Also why do people act like Jack of All Trades never happened? That was Jackas 3rd solo and just because it didn't have no radio singles dont mean it was a mixtape or comp, matter of fact it was the most album like out of all 3,had the same feel throughout, and was really consistent.

I wrote the shit. So for all supporters and haters let me make something clear. So first off its not a 1-15 list in the traditional sense. the numbers are there to correspond with the artist photo since a lot of people dont know what they look like and who they are. 2nd the categories are what needs to be focused on its not just a these are the 15 rappers that are bringin the west back. Last, whether you agree with it or not just ride with a nigga and buy the magazine. Anybody worthy who was left out has got plug in the mag because of me in the past or they will in the future. So chill out and support an Oakland nigga trying to open doors for artist I think need exposure. If the numbers look good it will only influence XXL and other mags that the West matters and you will start seeing more and more artists from your soil on a major platform. Money talks.

thats dope, surprised some heads are on that list. Surprised Blu and Pacific Division isnt on that list especially after Blu released one of the top westcoast underground albums last year and damn near every mag noted that. but in the end I am just glad they put some west coast in the mag period
