its not even all about money man...ive always wanted to be a cop...i wanna help people....i wanna protect woman and kids.

you can do that shit without havin the need to become a cop. join some sort of program were you can help battered woman. at a restaurant in lodi when katrina hit and back in central america when another hurricane hit we raised money and help provide clothing and food. i'm talkin bout he wants to help the community. i don't see cops doin that for us they abuse their authority. either way is not my life and pretty much we ain't him either he can do whatever the fuck he pleases to do.

interesting thread for sure.

i agree that both laws and law enforcement are necessary, but cops truly are above the law. who will watch the watchers? i have respect for very few cops. the most a cop has ever helped me was to let me off a speeding ticket and give me a seatbelt ticket instead. 99% of my interaction with police is them harrassing me for postin in a parking lot, standing in front of a party etc.

@j-boeg...here's something i've always wondered about someone wanting to be a cop. you say that you want to help these people, but in reality, most of the people you will come accross will despise you. they don't give a fuck that you're out there risking your life when you pull over a car for not signaling. they have no appreciation for you 'steering them away from trouble'. they will talk shit to you, show you NO respect and perhaps would hurt you if the opportunity arose. so, what would make you want to risk your life for people who don't like you anyway, people who don't want you there, and in fact, hate you without even really knowing you?

My cousin married some dude from New Hampshire and they moved out there. They met in central america. Dude was in the Military , his job was to protect the US Embassy. ANyways the point im making is that this ex military guy left central america and joined the police force out in new hampshire. Now i met this foo in El SAlvador and he was a cool dude, went out clubing at senor frogs with hella other marines. Anyways dudes cool but he is kinda of a crazy fuckin extreame whiteboy type of dude u feel me. Like hey bro lets go sky diving yeahhhhh rock onn. Anyways this foo joined the cops. I was like WTF, Why would you do something like that. Here is his respond and i bet other people who join the police force think the same. he told me and i put this on anything is that he wanted to fuck people up. He likes the adreniline rush of fighting and chasing people down and shit u minez as well get paid. Damn, aint u suppose to join to protect and serve, not fuck people up, not to mention this foo is a Marine,so he is trained by the military to fuck people up. And i wonder is there ex military fools in my town that when they got back from iraq or some foriegn country just turned cop becuase thats all there good for, killin and fuckin people up. I dont know man but i dont want no military fools patrolin my neighborhood like its Baghdad. Shit i aint no fuckin terrorist but that is how I get treated on the street. Until Head Quartes says im good and free to go.I dont know where im going with this but fuck the police
