i understand you on that but the only thing i said about the 84,000 was that i would need an education...somebody asked why i was going to school to be a cop when all you need is a HS diploma...first i wanna get a degree, second, i wanna work for redwood city cuz thats where i grew up...the pay is also a big reason...can you honestly say if there was a job that paid you 45,000 and a job that paid you 84,000 you would choose the lower paying job? nobody would...and the thing about giving teachers that high amount of money, i agree with you on that 150%
its not even all about money man...ive always wanted to be a cop...i wanna help people....i wanna protect woman and kids who get abused by their husbands/dads...help people get their stolen shit back...just overall helping people, its how ive always been...if that makes me a "faggot" or a "snitch" then so be it

man i'm sure a lot of cops get into that business with good intentions, and that's cool you just wanna help people (even though you seem very money driven). but believe me, you're gonna get sucked in behind that "blue wall". the power trip and experiences you're going to face are gonna fuck your head up.
in all my life i cannot think of ONE time where police have ever helped me. even if a time like that ever comes, it wouldn't make up for all the negative shit done towards me, including having my family, grandparents included, lying on the floor of our home handcuffed with fully automatic rifles pointed at us (for an investigation that was thrown out by the DA).
if you wanna help people, and make a lot of money doing it... there's better options than becoming a police officer.
