As a matter of fact let me say this one thing. Talk about biting. L.A's whole way of life came from the Bay. L.A's whole gang banging lifestyle was a direct influence of the Black Panthers. Not to mention that L.A opened a few Black Panther chapters. When they died out, the CRIPs formed out of that shit as a so-called revolutionary body. But the shit got out of hand creating this mess you call "Banging" today out there..By then BGF was already notorious. So I don't wanna hear shit about the bay biting anything from L.A.. Only rap fans are even concerned with who gets what culture from where...nobody else cares at all. Everybody borrows things from everywhere, and nobody on here had an impact on all of the things that were created in the Bay, L.A., or anywhere else, so braggin about things that people from your city/region or whatever does is pointless. I don't even know why I pay attention to these threads...I guess it's because I want to see how other people are thinkin, but a lotta what is said has no point or purpose anyway.

IF you aint on mtv, bet, vh1 or some nationally viewed video channel sellin units than you aint a major factor.The bay got the spot light right now, so the bay should rep the bay. Man, the ones who do the most damage down there in the Riots are Mexicans. L.A's population is 46.5% Mexican and fuckin 9% Black. And I ain't talkin about gangs, I'm talking about CRIPs and Bloods.. C.R.I.P (Community Revolution In Progress). They came as a direct result of the Black Panthers you idiot.. All you dummies were doing down there was killing each other and causing riots that didn't do shit to help anything. The Panthers faced off with the police one on one, man to man, gun to gun.. Every where had gangs before the panthers. Oakland had the 6'9 MOb, Funk Town, The Moore Family.. I'm talking about L.A's lifestyle today! Why would you brag about a riot that killed 50 of your own people? What did that accomplish? The Panthers made way more of a difference than one fuckin riot. And the CRIPs tried to immulate that but fucked up and started killing each other instead. Besides, Mexicans run L.A anyways, end of story.. Oakland, Richmond, and EPA are the only predominantley Black cities in Cali. And Oakland only having a 36% Black population though.. Even so, again, fuckin L.A is 9% Black (You'd have to look high and low to find black people in L.A outside of South Central, LMAO!). Not making it a racial thing, but if you're black you can't claim too many Hip Hop trends to be from L.A. Stick to salsa or reggaeton trends..
