LMAO....I know you've NEVER been to L.A. if you really believe the statistics about us bein 9%. Maybe in the entire county of Los Angeles, but even then, there are MANY black neighborhoods, in L.A. city itself and in surrounding cities...Carson has a whole lot of them, Compton has some, Watts has some (some being nice), Gardena (almost everything North of Rosecrans), Hawthorne, Inglewood is 50% black but seems like more, Lynwood and Lakewood have a few, Long Beach definitely has some, Culver City has some...then in L.A., many neighborhoods are starting to become more and more hispanic, but there are still some that are 75%+ black.

Southern Cali and Northern Cali should be divided into two states. Each area is completely different. I am not saying one is better than the other, just different. California is huge and as big as the Bay Area has gotten, with its population, it seems the bay is its own specific reigion. However, I do feel that San Jose has a lot of Southern Cali influences.

L.A has less poverty, a slightly better economy, more white people, more hills, and more hollywood/fakness.. The fakeness is about 75% of L.A.. 75% of L.A is fake. Comparing the Bay and L.A is like comparing New York to New Jersy.. We all know that New York ain't really that hard, just a few spots but New Jersy is overall a lot more grimey and realer..
