Are you talking about artists or fans? There are a SHITLOAD of latinos that love hyphy/bay music alltogether. It's not a racial representation but more of a lifestyle showcase. Maybe you're speaking for yourself or your area, but I don't think it's the general consensus of latinos that it's a black thing. Would you call Norte music a Latin thing? Remember that one of, if not the biggest selling artist of the genre is not Latino and that other ethnicities enjoy the music. Maybe it's just me, but I don't really see music with a color.
