As the smoke is clearing, we see they both are the winners$.

The salary schedule for both competitors involved in tonight’s UFC 91 main event have been made available to the general public. Typically such information does not become available until after a fight card is completed, however, Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Keith Kizer has revealed to the Los Angeles Times that both Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar are guaranteed $250,000 each. Additionally, Couture is to be paid $250,000 if he wins with Lesnar set to receive $200,000 should he be victorious.

It is important to note that both Couture and Lesnar stand to earn substantially more for their efforts in tonight’s fight. Both Couture and Lesnar will be eligible to win fight night bonuses such as cash rewards for “Fight of the Night,” “Knockout of the Night,” and “Submission of the Night.” Based on UFC president Dana White’s stated projection of 1.2 million pay-per-view buys, the promotion could give a record total in fight night bonuses.

Also, while not confirmed, based on past contract provisions, both Couture and Lesnar are expected to receive a percentage of PPV revenue generated from tonight’s fight. When it’s all said and done, both Couture and Lesnar are expected to make seven figures a piece from UFC 91.

Yeah. And what did Randy do to earn his heavyweight title shot against Sylvia in the first place? Lose to Liddell twice? Thats quite an amazing way to get a title shot.

What did Randy do to earn his light heavyweight title shot (the first time) against Liddell? Lose to Ricco Rodriguez and Josh Barnett.

Yeah. Maybe if Brock would've lost to Herring, he would've truly earned his title shot by Couture standards.

Well i guess that is the end of randy vs fedor oh well. If Brock does beat mir/Nog Dana better get some new heavywieghts ie Fedor.
losing one fight doesnt make you over the hill. people still want to see fedor vs randy. fedor isnt brock lesnar. lesnar is a freak.

didnt anybody notice brock looking sloppy? he was not cut like he was last fight. and he seemed slower. Looks like he had to lay off the juice because of all the testing.

Sick ass card overall. Brock got his title shot just like any big name star thats been talking the talk and walking the walk and getting his pro wrestling fans to crossover for a ppv buy, simple economics with an athletic resume to prove. This aint no Kevin Ferguson gimmick by knocking out bumbs on youtube, he's a legimitate collegiate all american. A fight like this caliber I could see why a fighter doesnt get much preperation. It looked as tho his wife was pregnant, any father to be has to take some time out of his work regime for doctor visits etc., plus the ongoing press to hype up a fight, its just the business aspect of it all. Brock has a lot more to go but hes just gonna keep winning off his bread n butter, we aint gonna see him in the close future pulling out omaplatas and anaconda chokes. I dont get how people say a ground fight is boring yet when someone wins by ground and pound it aint legitimate....

And it aint gonna be a trend of pro wrestlers crossing over to compete in MMa, Brock and Randy have something in common, they always want to compete in the highest level with the best fighters, give him his respect for pushing himself to become a champion....
