Who should be responsible for fixing the problems with blacks in the US?

No, your the one saying I judge people. My original statement was that, I can somewhat tell how they live, not what kind of person they are.

I believe that this statement, and all of the aspects of a person that I listed before, are sufficient facts as to get a "pretty accurate idea" on how the person lives.
If your using the fact that you don't know me, as a means to prove that you werent judging me, then how can I be judging these people if I don't know them? You see, the fact that you don't know me, don't know anything about me, and more importantly, have no substantial facts to back up your claim, only makes it more of a prejudice case on your part.
No, I don't do anything to people when they come into my store, and if anything, your the one stressing this whole deal. I made a statement to someone, then you begun "stressing" what I said. When these people come into my work, I don't try to think about how them live, I said that I could.

So anyways, I am volunteering my time at the Boys and Girls Club this summer and have enjoyed working with the kids so far...
I take e'm to different places on campus and we get tours and the whole 9. Basically, I want my kids to be focused on making good grades and finishing high school on time so they can go to college and earn a degree or learn a skill... They are beginning to see that "I'm gonna get a job" is not the best plan to have to have a secure future after graduating from high school...

When im at work, I don't try to figure out anything as far as who the person is or how they live. They come through my register and I check our their orders. When I made the original statement on here, it was the first time I really pondered the thought of how wealthy these people are. You are assuming way to much in this thread, its not looking good.
First off, its not like we only get a couple of these customers a day, they make up for a majority of our entire clientel. We take hundreds of these cards and make thousands of dollars off of them every single day. You don't understand, this store is a shithole, so to speak. It is on a crumby side of town where cost of living is rock bottom, poor people live all around it, THIS IS NOT A WEALTHY PART OF TOWN, this is well known to the people that live in this city. Secondly, a huge portion of our government funded income comes from WIC vouchers, which cannot be lended to another person, they go through verification. You are wrong, you don't understand, and lack most of the facts. I have complete FACTS and information that lead me to beleive what I said. As far as im concerned "somewhat tell" and "pretty accurate idea" mean the same damn thing. There are people that shop here who I would not have evidence to make such statements, there are others who I can "garauntee for a 100% fact" live a poor life.
You flat out called me a racist, that is passing judgement any way you look at it, weather you have the facts/reasons or not.
So your telling me that, if a person come into my store, wearing faded and ripped clothes with holes in them, smelling and looking like they havent showered in a while, using government funds for their food, not speaking english, wheeling her kids and groceries home in a stroller etc. etc. I am a racist and a prejudice for thinking maybe these people live a poor life? Clearly you have no understaning as to the surroundings of this store and the population that consume it.
No I don't. Those are just a few of the factors amongst many others that I would consider when trying to tell how wealthy a person is.
I broke it down to help you understand it from my point of view, but you obviously did get it, and still don't.
So tell me this, would I or anybody else be wrong if I said this guy lives a poor life?
I work there because its 5-10 minutes from my house, and almost an exact midway point between my house and school. I work their because it's a convenient location, the people I work with are cool, and to be perfectly honest, I like working with the kind of people that come here to shop. I worked at some other store twice a couple weeks ago week, on a rich side of town, and I just couldn't stand it. The people shopping at my store are down to earth, they are closer to reality, and have an understanding on taking things for granted. They are real people.
