^^I know, but I travel to those places almost every year and it just seems to be much more prevalent there than anywhere else I have been.

@Sixxness, The cannibus clubs are a "Plan B" for most people. You can get better bomb for cheaper on the streets.

GP-I have nothing against it. But it's a pointless question to ask people who are all from CALI (most of who have probably never lived outside of the state). You're entitled to your opinion, at least you explain yourself. Try going to Southern Ohio. I was born in Ohio, moved to WA when I was young but I go back almost every year to see my dad. I haven't experienced the level of racism I encountered there ANYWHERE else. I realize that other states have this but it's in a concentrated area there. I'm white, and had people calling me a nigger left and right.

Red...How many people do you know that go to the club? If you're gonna say most people, then sit in a club and ask them, otherwise it's just heresay and I won't pay much attention to it.

But seriously....TEXAS? Either you guys never experienced what it's like to live there, you're white or you're retarded. One of my best friends lived there till he was like 17 and moved to WA....culture shock like a mother fucker....He hasn't been called a spic since he got here. And he hasn't had people watch him for being a race other than white since he got here. Honestly, I gotta say the south and midwest are probably the most racist areas in the US for obvious reasons....so it's kinda odd to me that some people would seriously mention it as a good state...When they incarcerate people in record #'s each year. Real great state. I think I just take EVERYTHING into consideration where as most others just think somewhere is 'cool' to live cause they heard some shit about it from someone's cousin's baby's daddy's uncle.

.
Exactly....

The only people who ARENT gonna vote for there OWN state...are ones that live in buttfuck towns in the middle of nowhere...where theres nothing to do but get drunk and shoot pop cans....

I have a love/hate relationship with Washington..ive traveled to many otehr states and have enjoyed most of them...especially Maine...peaceful...and relaxin...but i ALWAYS end up BACK here...no matter HOW long im gone for....they put something in the water here n Washington to keep you from leaving....

The water here isn't that bad, really though. Compared to Cali and Ohio we have some pure non-fuckwitable h2o. Gotta add ice to the Ohio water just to make the nasty shit drinkable for me...lol...I'm stickin to the NW...If I move, it'll probably be to either Oregon, Idaho, Cali (for 1-3 years if that), maybe Colorado.

OK, let me rephrase. I don't know a single person who uses the clubs as their primary source for pot. Not one. I DO know several people who buy a gram every couple weeks or so from the clubs just to taste what they have, and usually it's not up to par with what the streets have to offer. And, nowadays, most of the club prices are reasonable anyway...no one's getting raped for trainwreck. I'm talking from my experiences only. Neither you, nor I, can speak beyond that.

With that said, do you know anyone who goes to the clubs down here? And how often do they go? Do they pay outrageous prices?

I think $45 for 3.5 is a ripoff, the shit should be 5 bucks a gram. Since some of the clubs grow it themselves..and it's a fucking plant...that will pretty much grow anywhere. Interesting fact: after growing weed, soil conditions are better, it leaves nutrients that most other plants take out....like corn. That whole GM corn fuel shit is making me want to PUKE. Corn is one of the worst things to grow as it takes out damn near every nutrient and you can't even grow on the same land the next year....my rant is done, sorry.

Let me ask this....Do you frequent the Detox forum? Talk to people in there and you may get where I'm coming from. I'm sure there's people that use clubs as just another outlet, but I'm sure some people that don't wanna get busted (or want to grow it themselves) go to the clubs for ALL of their mj purposes. So I guess neither of us can really say for sure, but shit....I'm always right! lol...j/k....

I just see people in the Detox talking about how they only go to clubs etc for their bomb since it's legal for them. Shit, if it was legal for me, I'd be growin my maximum right now! lol...

Born and raised in Colorado, love it.
Lived in Illinois (2 yrs) and Pennsylvania (1yr) and didn't really care for either.

Been to for at least a month or more:

California-most areas (loved visiting but not sure i'd want to live there) The bay is my favorite area, fresno least favorite.

Texas-yuck, the whole state sucks ass!

Arizona-i like AZ but too hot in summer

New Mexico-I like NM

Florida-undecided, liked visiting there

Montana-if you like the outdoors and few people this place is for you! Its like colorado with 1/6 of the people and twice as much land. This is probably my favorite state. Drawback is there's not a whole lot of ethnic diversity.

Basically, anywhere West of the midwest for me!

Cali because it has lots of Mexicans. I'm no racist, but I feel a lot more comfortable around my own people than anyone else. I've visited the East Coast (DC, Maryland, a few other states around there) and I didn't like it at all. I'm not saying that it's not nice or anything, I just dont feel comfortable at all.

Me too, Ohio anyways...and while people there are racist...I've seen/heard worse.

Where in Ohio? I go to Cleveland all the time, and I don't see it on that level. I do see racism, but like I said above...I've seen worse. And if you're white and being called a nigger...then I don't know, that doesn't make sense.

The two places I've seen it the worst were Wisconsin and Alabama. I could feel the racial tension out there.

So you're going on what your friend has said...have you been there? I've been there...and yes, TEXAS is cool ass place. They do have cities like Dallas and Houston you know? It's not all backwards...just like Ohio. You may go to southern Ohio and it's hickville...but Cinci and Cleveland aren't like that. Every state...even Cali has it's racist/backwards areas...but like you say...you have to take EVERYTHING into consideration.

As for locking people up...well...don't fuck up.

I was born in Columbus, but my dad lives in Athens were Ohio University is. There's a good amount of diversity there for the size of the place. There's parts of every city with racism, the only differences are really weather and size of the town....

As for the locking people up-stop making laws that fuck over damn near 50% of a race in one state. It's not the people bro, it's the laws.

That doesn't make any sense.

If you have a law and someone breaks it...it's the laws fault?

Cali of course...and thats not just because I'm from here. I love it here...you know how you're just born somewhere that you have no control over ?

I always sit and think about how glad I am that I wasn't born & raised in Montana or Colorado or some shit like that.

If I had to choose another place I'd probably choose Washington...the air is fresh up there...and its not TOO much different from here, well that I noticed at least...I was up in the Seattle/Tacoma area...it was gorgeous, and I learned why they call it the 'everGREEN' state...lol

So there are more black and brown people in jail because they are just worse people?
No...they broke the law. Who am I to judge who's better than than the next man.

Law says you can't sell crack. It doesn't say a white man can, and a black or mexican can't. People know what they can and cannot do...it's up to you to decide what you want to do.

Cali is only so-so overall IMO. I have been more or less all over Cali and I love the Bay area and San Diego. LA is a huge crap hole...I mean it's cool to visit but I wouldn't want to be there for more than a month. I can't stand the desert towns...they are the worse.

NV is cool but only for Las Vegas and Tahoe...besides that...crap.

I'm from NYC (Da Bronx) so of course I'm partial too it...but honestly besides NYC and the surrounding suburbs the rest of New York isn't much to get excited about (some nice beachs though)

I would have to say New York (NYC) and Cali (Bay area/S.D.) are a tie for the nicest that I have been too.

I love Washington though too. No city in the US looks like this one. Some cities you got the water (ocean, sound, etc). Some you got the mountains. Here you both. The summers are beautiful here. Plus it seems like 90% of the people who live here aren't from here originally.

I would say the worst state I have been to is Montana...there is nothing out there. The Dakota's suck too. They would both be great for hunting/fishing...but that's about it.

If the laws don't make sense, are abusive and punish people for behavior that's harmless, then yeah, the problem is the law.

I think you took what i said the wrong way....

Its a figure of speech...meaning they are doing something to keep me around...."they must put somethin in the water to keep me around"....see???

Our water taste great...almost as good as Minnesotas...
