The Invention of Lying
dl'd it, watched it late last night, i had no idea what to expect from this movie, to me it was just going to be another movie to kill time and expected it to be horrible. but as i was watching it i only became more interested and payed attention from start to finish, it might not be the greatest movie of 09' and it did have some cheesy shit in there, but i like the message that the movie is putting across, especially to really shallow people, i would personally recommend to see this movie, because in the end i thought it was worth it. i give it a solid 3.5/5, thats just me tho...

Dorian Gray - Plot from imdb - A corrupt young man somehow keeps his youthful beauty eternally, but a special painting gradually reveals his inner ugliness to all. Comes from the novel by Oscar Wilde in 1890. Overall I give the movie a B. I had low expectations but was interested throughout the movie.

The Messenger - An American soldier struggles with an ethical dilemma when he becomes involved with a widow of a fallen officer. Ben Foster/Woody Harrelson. It's basically about two soldiers who's job is to inform the next of kin their loved one was killed in Iraq/Afghanistan. I give this movie a C. Depressing at times, shows the families of the dead soldiers very well, however the movie was dull at times and the ending was poor. Woody Harrison did a good job though. Decent film but should have been better considering the storyline.
