I understand what you're saying, i'm just guilty of getting on here hella loaded and not expressing myself clearly.....so instead on saying something smart ass back I will concede that i should have been clearer.

Kobe hogging the ball in the reg. season was a let down, looked like his team wasn't gonna do shit. Then come the 'offs, and he's getting his team involved and who knows how far they will go now, i thought the suns were going to have their way with them. Now I see the rest of the Lakers stepping up, and Kobe taking over the game when he has to, and also some spectacular fourth quarter play.

If Kobe does get to the Nba finals, let's say, then I will go back and look at the reg. season differently. I would look at it like, "wow, kobe had to ball hog so his team would make it into the playoffs. Now that they're in the playoffs, he's now playing team ball, making the Lakers even more solid". So, if they're in the finals, i'd look back and my opinion would change.
Yes, once a MVP is named, the only other thing left would be the finals MVP. I'm just saying how differently i'd think if Kobe takes his team all the way. I'd look at his reg. season play much more differently that I had been.....Feel me?
I understand what you're trying to say, but it still makes no sense. Kobe getting his team to the finals has absolutely no reflection on his play during the season. Just because he starts trying to play team ball in the playoffs doesn't mean his selfishness during the season should be overlooked. Let's put it like this.. If the team player role is working in the playoffs, it most definately would have worked during the season. So the whole thing about Kobe having to hog the ball during the season is a load of shit. Since him trying to be a team player is working so well, they could have possibly won the division and they would not have been the 7th seed. Then, I do believe Kobe might have won the league MVP award.

Though I partly agree that playoffs shouldn't reflect the season MVP, I don't thin the lakers were ready and familiar enough with the offense to be playing this well in the beginning. His scoring and no passing did last a little longer than needed probably, but its working out perfectly now so I'm not really complaining.
