if u want to make ur guy as good as possible, go pro without any amateur fights. the career mode is on a time limit and amateur is a waste of time. losses arent a big deal, u still earn most of the points.
after the WFA i went 8-0-0 in pro before i lost to forrest griffin. I came back and beat tito in a 2nd round tko and then lost to rashad evans.
shit got hard. but i dont think im training right.

this game is harder than last years. especially if ur stats arent as good as ur opponent. my guy is about 10 years deep and pretty solid but not as good as the top light heavyweights. my strength, speed, and cardio are maxed out and its still real tough to win. fuck it tho, i'm not sweatin my record or my losses, my goal is to make a beast to fuck people up online with. this is playing on the 2nd easiest level, experienced.

im a little confused. which stats can you max out at 30,40,50 and 70? is that the shit you add points to after every sparring session? or is that the strength, speed and cardio? feel like an idiot asking when im this far into it already. lol

i have 2 careers goin and im gonna start a 3rd cuz i wanna make a buncha diff styled fighters. one for boxing and stand up, the other a ground and pounder, and another in muay thai. i know i can take em to diff camps and learn new moves but i wanna specific style to dominate in.

in the 2nd career i got the hang of training. i like to get my strength and speed out of the way, boost up my cardio a bit, rest for 1-2 weeks and when im at my best shape i spar to get the most points possible just before the fight.. no point in goin into a sparring session with shitty training behind me. makes it harder to do well.

i also skip all that media and interview bullshit to train more. all that shits a hassle to deal with and gets in the way of reaching my peak on time. it was fun at 1st but man that bitch doesnt give up. i noticed sparring is harder with that slut and her camera men in the room haha

its 30 50 70 for the sparring skill points, so i've left mine on 70 for a minute while i stack. when i get close to the end of my career ima load em up and be at least 85+ in all things.

i didnt spend that much time at camps but i prolly learned like 10 moves.

the media shit is a waste of time, i never did any of it.

So are you leaving some of your shit at zero until you gather enough points to shoot it straight to 30? I shoulda did that shit because now I ended up losing shit that I coulda been saving
30 was easy to get to and fast. with 50 i would just run up 1 stat til it got to 50 then move to the next. same with 70.

i'm tryin to finish this career guy up right now, u fight for 12 years and i'm hoping they announce a heads up on my last fight.

i've been sick and had time to play and this career was pretty long.

anybody create a guy without doing career? ima try that next and see how it works. hopefully career wasnt a waste of time and my career guy shits on the non career fools.

So im playing the demo using Rua vs Machida on beginner I kept just hurting Machida going to the body alot dropped him 3 times where I could stand over him and end it but I waited till his health gets to about 10% I then go for a submission and could not get it no matter how hard I tried no matter how much I mashed on the buttons etc... I mean 10 fucking percent of life you gotta be fucking kidding me....

It just reminded me why I gave away my copy of the first UFC game

One thing i can do without in this game is the post fight interviews by rogan. i mean, shits alright after the first few but by the time i reached my 25th fight, i was kinda wishin they added a skip option.
You can press start to skip the questions but you still have to chose an answer.

Beat the game twice. First time with 35-4 in light heavy and the 2nd with 45-7 in heavyweight. first in beginner 2nd in experienced..

By the way, shaq is pretty good with the boxing but his ground defense and takedown defense is shit in this.

Everything in this years game should have been in last years.
I heard THQ wants to be the "next madden" in sports games. So i think this will be another one of those fucking annually released games.

i just got this, and its ok so far. alot to get used to.im just getting my style, im a counter puncher that is really dominant on the ground. i just got good enough to smash the computer every time on advanced (minus one decision and any fight with shane carwin lol) but i still need to get a better handle on this before i start smashing all of you at it online
